Oh how I wish they were my words. Alas, they are of the great Sir Elton John. The song is Daniel... it's a beautiful song. It usually helps with scars, actually.
I hope you're okay, and remember you can get through anything! ESPECIALLY when you look to the Ladies.
I think scars are pretty symbolic.. you don't remember something unless it left a lasting impression, and scars are everlasting (unless they go away) but when they go away the memory usually gets filed into a cabinet in your brain that doesn't make it so apparent all the time...
Just a theory, doesn't help anyone any but...meh.

since getting into "ladies" I have become surrounded with love through the music and words, this was apparent in the songs WIF and WOD - too beautiful to ignore...I will see them one day

I looove the song When I Fall... I've never heard it live, but I've heard War On Drugs live twice. It's pretty amazing.
I hope you get to see them soon!

Steve getting tips from your daughter? AWESOME!
Honestly though, if you could give up staying in one place to tour with the band for no charge (everything's included!) would you?

of cause I would - I consider myself a bit of a gypsy, as I don't like being grounded in one spot for too long...

Awesome, awesome. I'm not a big fan of change but I know a lot of people who are and it's pretty cool.
How would you serve the band?
