i totally answered the question...see: boy you guys get sidetracked easily don't you? heh. so you want to know things about me, eh? well...i am young and have zero children! i am currently attenting humboldt state university (in northern california) as a theatre major....one year away from graduating (thank god.) people are usually rather shocked to discover how much i loves the bnl...this is because my look/attitude is a little more punk/emo/indie rock. so there ya go...some random info about me. if there are other more specific things you'd like to know then you must ask! 'twas at the bottom of page 2

Sorry tang I did not see that. Side tracked? You think we get sidetracked? I had never noticed that before. LOL This is the random board...and random we love!!!!
Thanks for the info tang. Where is Humboldt? I have heard of it, but do not know where it is. Are you a native Californian?

i am indeed a native californian...originally from the bay area (near san francisco and san jose.) humboldt is in a city called arcata which is reeeeally far north in ca...near eureka if that helps at all. it's on the coast and about an hour or so from oregon.

Ahhh ok I have some rough idea. I have never been to that part of California. I consider myself a native...because I have lived here for 20 years, which is way more years than I have lived anywhere else.
A theatre major huh? In the performance area? I have a minor in theatre.

i am not so much a performer anymore...did a lot of that in high school though. now i am more in the fields of stage management, lighting, and stage combat. (that last one is my favorite.)

Very cool tang. I went to college to become a set and lighting designer. I took a hard right my junior year and decided to go to law school though.

Just a tad tang. Actually I still have some creative outlets, and perhaps one day after my family is raised I will get involved in local community theatre again, although I am not certain that I would have the patience for the "politics" of that.

yeah...pretty much all theatre is infected with politics of some sort. gets kind of frustrating. i'd really like to find a bunch of people who are actually there for the art. sigh.

I thought the fish was called Wanda... And what exactly may I ask, is stage combat?

Wanda is dust flipper, got swallowed whole if I remember correctly.
Stage combat.....coaching and designing fighting (fists, or swords etc.) for the stage

they do indeed still make tang...and i loves it! the tang bandit was created when a friend in high school claimed that kool-aid was a better beverage. lunacy i tell you!
and BNLater's definition of stage combat is pretty much correct (if not more applicable to fight choreography.) stage combat is fighting without anybody getting hurt.
