No I haven't tried that. I will though. Thanks. She had the tubes put in back in November. Since then, she had the worse ear infection she's ever had. it started in Mid February and stopped last week. And now its back.

Hi all my cousin had a baby girl and named her Ellie May, and I did a really neat thing and wrote my cousin a poem to commemerate the birth of her daughter...
Mas, I suffered with constant ear infections from the age of 6 months until I was 13, and I would bang my head on a brick wall - very hard to elevate the pain, but all I ended up with was concussion, every week
The tubes put in the ear are grommits, and they are placed to unblock the middle ear of the build up of fluid in the ear, I had 8 operations to have them put in and it only weakened the eardrum...its not a pleasant thing to have - i can tell you. I cannot remember anything that my mum used to calm me down when it was really bad, I think it was a dose of a decongestant with an antihistemine so I could sleep...

Aww, thats horrible DH. Hopefully Ash won't be too plagued with the infections for that l;ong, but the kid got most of my gene pool so its inevitable!
Congrats on your cousins baby. Boy or girl?

Ah crud, I didn't even notice the name! D'uh.
I got a couple of hours. It would have been longer except my eldest daughter was crying in her sleep so I went in to see her and she woke up saying she wasn't crying. She had no clue what I was talking about. Oy! Then she woke Ash up so I snoozed in their room for an hour or so. Ash is feeling a bit better though. Thanks for asking!

I am glad she is feeling better. Isn't parenthood tiring? LOL I only have one, so I did not have the trouble with one waking the other, but I do when I have my neices stay over!!!! I am glad you got some sleep, and hope that you can recharge over the weekend.

Mas, my daughter suffered with constant snoring which turned out to be large tonsils and had to have her tonsils and adenoids removed and they were HUGE - and could've killed her at any given time...
