I didn't want Thursday to feel left out, so now it has it's own thread too. I mean it is often overlooked; however, it is a great day since it means only one more until the weekend!!! How is everyone's Thursday going? Mine has been quiet....got my triple white chocolate mocha and life is good. <<heats up espresso machine..anyone want anything? <<place large platter of croissants out, with a variety of jams and jellies |

Had bad caffiene experience yesterday...
trying to make it without....
Now I think I'm addicted to Advil and Alleve.... to fight the withdrawl headache!!
Takes deep whiff of expresso....

Well that is true with one glass of chocolate milk, but if you drank an entire coffee pot full of it it might be about the same!!! ;D

 *hugs puppies* my thursday has been totally pants, mainly due to huge dissapointment in my exams I'm going to have to retake three of them in June................grrrrr I don't take failure well, I have really high standards for myself and I'm just now abit down but I'm gonna become a hermit and work my ass of fire off until I leave college in about 15 weeks time.

Hogey,
hang in there....
No one ever said school would be easy...
And life goes on failed exams or not.... a grade doesn't make you the person you are, but the ability to bounce back and keep motivated and persist will definately show character! (which I think is important!)
I too had some problems in college... my worst exam grade was a 32% and I bounced back, studied my ass off, got some tutoring, persisted and survived.. Infact I've done some cool things and consider myself successful....So hang in there... there is life after stupid grades!
PS I still have that dreaded test... for the longest time I hung it up on my fridge as a reminder! Now it's in my scrap book next to my final transcripsts! (which were pretty darn good considering my 32% on one test!!) ;D

You got that right hogey...puppies can feel when you are down and give extra kisses and love. As for us humans, we have alll been in situations that are similar and can certainly understand your feelings....the best of those is I WILL NOT LET THE BAS#$RDS GET ME DOWN!!!!!! It is normal to feel disappointed...but to become more resolute in your determination to do well...that is a great gift!!!! Use it to your advantage. Let me know if there is anything I can assist with.

my weekend starts at 12:30pm on a thursday straight after a chem lecture....but the housework and raising my 2 kids to respect each other never stops....
