nonick... just for you I shall reveal my deepest, darkest secret... I'll get back to you on that one. but as far as my story. Well, I'm 19 years old, and I've been a fan of BNL for about 11-12 years now. I first listened to them when I was seven. I remember my dad had a copy of Gordon (it's mine now) and I sat in the middle of my bedroom floor listening to it over and over and over and reading the lyrics and memorizing them. Because I was so young I didn't have much of a chance to explore their library of stuff, so I managed to have Gordon pretty much memorized by the time I got my next BNL CD (which was Stunt). Bear in mind I was very, very young still. So I got Stunt and remember listening to it absolutely non-stop for months. I would bring it around when I during the summer everywhere I went, and I had neighbours and friends listen to it too. And I become even more obsessed. I ended up buying MYSD before Maroon came out, but I could get into it. Maroon came out, loved them even more. This was also the time of my first concert ever. GM Place, Vancouver, March 7, 2001 (I still have the stub). Disc One, even more so. I think right after Disc One came out I ended up getting BOAPS, but like MYSD, I couldn't get into it. E2E came out, loved that album. And then it wasn't until a year or two ago that I really got into the two albums (MYSD and BOAPS), and I would now say they've got some of the best songs on them. So that was a really lengthy explanation of my BNL fandom, but I must mention, for those who don't know that the ultimate WAS playing on stage with them. I can die happy. My interests include......... well, I'm going to school full-time right now to become a journalist, so I don't have interests. I don't have a life. But I have a two hour commute everyday to listen to my BNL!!! I love pop culture; it's my obsession. Movies, TV, music; I am like a sponge for the most useless, random pop culture trivia, but it helps me when I play Trivial Pursuit. I love photography (www.flickr.com/photos/kslavin) and I love to write. That's pretty much "my life... in a nutshell." haha...get it? of course you all do. But no deep, dark secrets to share, which is odd for a 19 year old, isn't it? I'll figure something out though eventually and share that with you.
