I almost didn't see humpday as I try to take my life last night, all because of several factors, which led into depressive and suicidal mood....
Once I finish uni tomorrow I am able to re-evaluate my situation and get some more concilling

Hump day? Is that a nickname for Wednesday?
I'm in Chicago in a little more than a month!!! End of school is in 10 days...end of finals is in 22 days...
My birthday is in a month...
And DH is an awesome, awesome person.

Yup it is... anyways, that'S what I learned here... and it's also "hump" as in a hill, not... the other kind of hump... ok, am I the only one who actually thought that at first?
And yes, DH is a fabulous person!

I learned Wednesday was called hump day because it's in the middle of the work week, it's the top of the hump. It's downhill to the weekend from here.

Firstly: Ludwig I to thought of that kind of hump but I am 17 and full of hormones!
Secondly: Hug for Dragon *hug*
Thirdly: 9 days till I go on study leave, 15 days till I take my first 3 exams (damn those exam ppl I mean who would have thought that people studying physics would take maths! so it's fine to put the exams on the same day)
Fourthly: 23 days till my birthday when I apparently become an adult.
Fifthly: Happy hump day to one and all.

The slang term for Wednesday is a double entendre....having the meaning the soft so eloquently described AND the meaning that both Ludwig and Hogey confessed to having contemplated.
Dragon I am glad that you made the proper choice...both in not taking your own life AND seeking counseling.

thanx all, I have an appointment to see a concillor who I saw whilst was suffering PND and will starting next wednesday morning...hopefully I get my head together before I get acceptances for job offers etc...

had on okay birthday. sister was home for the morning, we went to lunch - yeah, well, Taco Bell takeout- after visiting Mumsy at work and hitting her up for moolah. After that sister went to work, and I was home alone for about 30 minutes, when my father got home and promptly disappeared upstairs. My mom got home about an hour and a half later, and I took a nap, then we went to my grandfather's restaurant for some dinner and cake. My cousin was also working (with my sister, BTdub), so we had a little celebration. Afterwards my mum went to Wal-Mart to get a graduation gift for a friend while my dad and I came home. I played guitar a bit, then watched softball 'til sister came home and we had presents time. And now I'm here after not playing Trivial Pursuit like I had wanted to- the parentals went to sleep and me sis hates board games, but hey, I'm tired and there's tomorrow. So yeah, a good day.
