That was bizarre.... my message disappeared.
Nonick, I agree Lysol smells nasty. Couldnt they come up with odorless disinfectant?
Flipper, I am taking no chances here...I do not have time to be sick!!

We have that in our bathroom here at work. Actually, I think the stuff we have is called "Summer Breeze" or something silly like that. But it smells like apples to me.

Feel for you Mobitz - I'm having some minor surgery on Friday and expect to be laid up all of next weekend. We had an absolutely beautiful weekend here in KY, and I hate the thought of missing next weekend laying in bed watching TV.

Aww... Well see Flipper, that's why Friday is going to be another "Be Nice to Flipper Friday"! (You've guilted us into it!!) All joking aside, hope everything is all right and like mob said, it's only one weekend.

And I won't even be around to enjoy it! Well, maybe if the drugs wear off, I'll have my laptop with me and check in. I'm having my nose busted actually. I have a deviated septum they are going to repair, and something else done to help with air flow through my nose. This is the first thing I need done to hopefully cure my mild sleep apnea. The other stuff involves my throat, and I'm hopeful fixing the nose will be enough without going through the rest. Recovery on the nose and throat together I was told would be 2-3 weeks. The nose by itself is just 5-7 days and I'm hoping less. It's all about pain tolerance supposedly. I'll be pretty loopy with pain meds, so there's no telling what I'll post over the weekend...

That sounds pretty painful there, Flipster. But as long as they knock you out, life will be better. Don't try to do too much, too fast though, it's always worse when you try to rush a recovery. How is your tolerance for pain, better with Vicodin and/or Percocet? Can't wait to see what posts will come our way if you can post while you're loopy!

Yeah, I'll be knocked out - and then have the entire weekend to recover. My wife isn't very sympathetic though, so I have to be careful not to be whiny. My job is pretty much a desk job, so coming to work Monday may be doable if I'm not under the influence. Loritab and Percocet are supposedly my two choices for pain meds. I'm not really crazy about taking anything unless I'm just miserable. I just don't enjoy the drug induced coma feeling.

I agree with you. Every time that I've had to take pain pills in the past (kidney stones, wisdom teeth extractions, etc.) I've always asked the same question: "Why would anyone do this to themself on purpose??" I've never heard of Loritab before, but Percocet can really knock you for a loop. Funny thing is, I've never had a pain pill that actually takes away the pain, only makes it so that you're so stoned you don't care about being in pain any more. But if you need some sympathy feel free to come and whine on the board and we'll make you feel better! (Or at least we'll be good for some cheap enteretainment!)
