Today marked my first dress tech rehearsal. I also learned that a 5-page English essay I've done nothing on is due tomorrow. About 10 to 9, my friend and I were sitting in my car getting ready to leave, and she goes to get her stuff out and put it in her car. I get out to help her, and she pulls on the door- locked. She locked me out of my car, with the lights (including the dome) on and the engine running. Luckily I only live about 10 minutes away, so my dad came and saved the day. I punched my window out of shock and cut my hand in the shield thingy at the top, though. But the rehearsal itself went decently. I was pretty surprised.

I am glad rehearsal went well..it is nice when you expect the worse and are pleasantly surprised.

Bumpity bump bump bump
Depression Monday. Tonight is the NCAA championship, and my Cats are sitting at home. Great season, but it's hard to watch knowing how close we were to being there. Supposed to be sunny and 70 here today, hopefully a carbon copy of a beautiful Sunday. I spent my weekend getting emails switched over to my new computer, and buring CD's as I've never had that capability until now. Listening to Stunt and BOPS for the first time in forever it seems. I hardly remember the off songs from BOPS. Did some kick-arse baby back ribs on the Big Green Egg last night. About 4 hours of slow cookin, and they were delish. Grilled a couple of Andouille sausages to compliment, baked a couple of taters, steamed some asparagus and brussell sprouts (those for the wife). Fruit smoothies around 9:00 to top it off. A good weekend...

Flipper it will all be over soon, and you can start dreaming about next season.
Had a pretty good weekend, went to baseball game..the Padres against the Lake Elsinore Storm, which is a very low level farm team for the Padres. It was a fun afternoon of baseball and people watching.
Now back to the grind!!! Fun Fun!!!

Sounds like everyone had a good weekend! I spent all of mine indoors. Finally did my taxes on Saturday and it was extremely windy on Sunday and my cold had a relapse. Good news is that I'm feeling better today, so maybe the restful weekend was a good, if not boring, idea! The sun is out again and it's beautiful here! High in the mid-60's and not windy like yesterday. I'm hoping to get to walk my dogs tonight!

Sure! I love taking dogs out for walks. It gets me to actually do some exercise while being entertained by the crazy little critter.

What is the crazy critter is not so little? What if the crazy critter weighs 185 pounds and her back will hit your waste when she stands on all fours?

My baby is a 16 pound black and white shih tzu, who happens to be THE most adorable dog on the planet! (I'm not biased or anything!) But she is very entertaining to take on walks, and she's a real trooper too. She's been on "moderate to difficult" hikes of over 5.5 miles before and made it all the way to the end of the trail. Granted, all the she did the following two days was sleep, eat, and potty, but you'll have that! Here's a link to just a few pictures of her: community.webshots.com/album/57420398hDuhWp

No... but my sister's standard poodle does! He actually loves to wear a t-shirt. But then again, he is a little odd.
