Ok, Ludwig's birthday is Saturday. Anyone have any ideas?
We want to stick to pirate theme? Or mix it up?

Egads! A birthday for the pirod?? How cool!! Don't you think the pirate theme would be too easy though? Mostly likely what he would expect, too..... What about something totally unexpected..... maybe Barbie themed!?!

Hmmmm now there is an idea. I mean all pink and frufru!! Marabo and glittery? What games shall we play? Who is gonna bring the cake? Snacks? Drinks? I can bring iced tea of course, and sodas and coffee and some wine for those of age. I can bring my hot beefy bean dip...not real theme oriented but really good. Lets see...I guess we need a veggie tray...Barbie has to keep that figure somehow doesn't she? What else?

I've got a couple of the barbie mixed cds here...with all the girly kind of music on it...none of them have any BNL...

<<hauls in beefy bean dip in a crock pot and puts in refridge..in case I am not here when the clock turns over to Ludwig's big day....puts raspberry iced tea in the fridge along with 7 UP, Coke, Dr Pepper, some wine and some new seasonal flavors of creamer for coffee <<puts up pink sparkly decorations, with lavender marbo highlighting it <<sets up large cut out of Barbie with cut outs of tiaras for playing pin Barbie's tiara on.....and set up large cut out of Capt Hook with hook raises for ring toss...I got glittery pink and purple Barbie bracelets to use as the rings...or to wear if you so choose Did I forget anything? |

*places lovely pink frosted bunt cake on the counter next to the beverages, complete with the sugar crystals to make it sparkle* I think it looks very nice.... I also think that Ludwig will be VERY surprised!!! ((... not sure how happy.... but definitely SURPRISED!))  |
