Nah, I have a tendency to run late anyway, I'd be much better off packing on Thursday night or Friday morning.

Happy monday had a relapse & spoke to a Sexual assault councillor about the flashbacks that I was having... then went to see the psychologist to devise some reverse psycology to manage the flashbacks, and to top it all off I got the bombshell dropped on me - my sponser has cervical cancer yet again for the 4th time - but she is the one being brave while her family is crying including me!!!! Speedy recovery mom I love you so much - c-ya in December!!!!!

Wow, an action packed weekend for you.... I didn't do much of anything but rest my back and still partially recovering from last weekend! Monday is sunny and warm here though. Well, warm as compared to what it has been. Overall a pretty darn good day.

Rainy but mild here in the Okanagan. Had an uneventful weekend really. I'm back to work tomorrow.
Tomorrow my little 18 month old nephew Jonah is going to the Children's Hospital for a heart catheterization.
A quick background on the little spanker: He was born with a congenital heart defect known as Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. It was discovered on my sister inlaw's 18 week ultrasound. Basically the left side of his heart and his aorta was poorly developed. My brother and sister inlaw (who was at the WWF show with me) opted for a series of heart surgeries to reconstruct the heart from a 4 chamber to a 2 chamber organ. He's had two of the surgeries so far and we hope to hold off on the third until he's about 3 or 4.
So tomorrow, they put him under GA and insert a guide wire to check for narrowing of the main arteries and blood vessels. It should be a relatively simple procedure, but I get so nervous, so any good thoughts and prayers you can send our way would be helpful.
Ok, sorry for the interuption of Monday, everyone have a good one!

*climbs out of hole*
I shall make no excuse for my absense all I will say is: 7 deadlines, 2 weeks with a 3 day compulsory trip to the middle of nowhere to go on a physics retreat with students from the 2 other physics teaching welsh uni's.

I was just thinking about him the other day, Jessica. I remember when you posted about his condition right after he was born. I'm glad he is doing well now and hope he just keeps getting stronger!
