yay, I wouldn't say that going to see Rent would mean you are spoiled If I admit to having seen it 10 times on stage, does that make me more spoiled? I figured I should pass it up once in awhile. What I'm now *really* having trouble passing up is that the two actors who originated the two main roles will be back on Broadway for a six week run starting July 30. It's making me twitchy to not go. The great thing with RENT, though, is that there is something in the "contract" pretty much mandating that for every single performance, there have to be $20 rush tickets that are sold 2 hours before every show. On Broadway, that translates to a lottery, because they used to have people lining up for days to get tickets. But on tour it means that, for the most part, if you show up about 6 hours before the tickets go on sale, you can generally get tickets. It depends on how popular it is in your city and I would imagine it would be more popular after the movie came out, but I haven't rushed since then. One time about 7 years ago I was actually walking by the auditorium on my college campus an hour before rush tickets went on sale and there were only 5 people in line - obviously I joined them.  So most of my RENTing has been $20 a pop. And the best part (for me, anyway, some people don't like it), the rush seats are always right in the orchestral pit, since it isn't used for the show. |

Is it Thursday already?! I can't beleive it... I have had drivers ed all week and tonight I take my final test... I hope I pass! So far our school is on a two and a half hour delay, which is probably the first time I've ever heard of that! And I got to see Mike Myers on the Today show this morning.. Yay!
How's everyone else's Thursday so far?

I'm happy to be home now from dog/house-sitting since last Wednesday, and also happy that it is Thursday with only Friday between me and THE WEEKEND!! Woohoo!!! Not that I have big plans for the weekend, but I hope to catch up on some sleep that I lost while I was dog sitting.

I have 3 more days of work to go, blech. Speaking fo which, I need to go get ready! With the sky high gas prices, I'm walking everyday but Wednesdays, so I need to get my ass in gear here! Have a good day all, any weekend plans???
