Sunny! Otherwise, SSDD. Got my eyeballs checked out today and everything stayed exactly the same, which is great. Optic nerve looks very healthy and my prescription hasn't changed in about 8 years. Finally some good news regarding my health!

Yep it was mob! I wish they had planned it a bit ahead, and could have stayed the night at the new house so we had more time, but it was fun to see them for an hour or so.

I care! Just got back from work, here...my kiddo had a pretty good day today, which is always a cool thing. And Bridget is totally psyched cause she is going to be the Earl of Kent in King Lear in the fall play (cast list came out today). He's the one who is exiled but comes back in disguise to help Cordelia. She's going to have a blast! Linnea's grumpy because she used up her computer time earlier today...but such is life. She's so sunny that even her grumps are not bad, generally. Happy Tuesday, folks.

Well, it's Tuesday again! How was everyone's long weekend there in the good ole US of A?
It's quite foggy here this morning, and chilly. Oh, and it's garbage/recycling day, I need to remember to put that out on my way to work. Thinking out loud. Um, ok, not much else to say! Have a great day everyone!

I hope your day is grand Jess. We survived a marathon baseball weekend, and even got some stuff done around the new house. Bob got his flagpole up and the stars and stripes were flying high in time for Memorial Day. I got the island painted. I love it!

<bites tongue to keep from commenting on "Bob got his flagpole up...."> Sorry, soooo tempting! ;D Glad things are looking good around the house, BNLater! Long weekend was ok here except that I had a cold, bleah...but at least I did not have to work during the worst of the cold, which was a good thing, I guess. The weather was gorgeous, though. Had Bridget to the allergist this morning and they are trying to squeeze her in for venom testing next week (this guy only does it one week a month) - the doc is a bit of an idiot, but I would like to at least know what we are dealing with. The IRS just sent me a mysterious refund check (not the economic stimulus one) with a note that read, in part: "The amount of the enclosed refund check is differrent from the amount shown on your return. You should be receiving a notice in a few days that explains why the amount of the check is different and what additional information, if any, you man need to provide to the IRS... If you are certain that the amount of the refund check is too high, please return the original check to the IRS center where you filed your tax return with a letter explaining the reasons why the amount is too high, and we will send you the correct amount. If you do not return the check, you may owe interest." All I will say is, our government....wow. The US is run by geniuses.
