Oh the joys of school... Just please don't let it be Tuesday again, that would just mean that I'd have to go through Wednesday again! I'll be ready to go home and sleep tonight, but alas, I have a short answer exam that I must work on...

The entire class is take home as it is my online class. The professor was nice enough though to extend the deadline. At first she made it available yesterday and it was due on Friday by 5:00pm. Not a lot of time for the biggest grade in the class. So I e-mailed her before the exam was posted to see if she thought working on it in one evening would be enough since with that time frame, Thursday evening was all I had, and her reply said that so many people were having problems with the deadline that she was extending it to Sunday. So at least that is a lot of pressure off for tonight.

Nonick, it sounds like your professor is reasonable. I am taking a couple of online classes. One class was kicking my ass in a major way and I kept complaining about how tough it was and the professor was a butt. Then I reread the syllabus and discovered that I had set an accelerated pace for myself and I was doing work that wasn't due until December. The first assignment was due in a week so my brain said they all were, so I was doing a unit a week. Idiot. I am now completely done except for one test and one paper. I am up through December 11. Seriously. I am such a goober sometimes I scare myself. Luckily I have an A, but it seemed like all I did for a month was study Botany! In my English I am right on schedule and it's annoying to always have to think about it so I think I might double up on them and get them over with too. I hope your test goes well. I feel for ya. At least you actually READ the info with the timelines. I think you will be juuuuust fine.

surprising I never have taken an online course, but I would jam it big time and finish it as fast as possible and be done and over with it.

That's assuming that is the way your class is set up. This one is not like that. Assignments are only released on a one week or two week basis. So sure, you could read the whole book ahead of when the assignments are released, but then you may forget it all by the time Assignment 4 or Exam II is made available. Believe me when I say that I was extremely disappointed that I could not finish the class in one week and have it out of my hair....

He is a sweetie. I love that he is so mellow and easy to satisfy. Casserole... check. Store bought cake... check. Cheap card from the dollar store... check. (although he did get a seven string guitar earlier this month)
It will be a lovely day. Hope y'all have one too!
(I am cleaning the oven this morning because the apple pie bubbled over the other day. I think it was easier back in the day when we had to use aerosols and rubber gloves. This smoke/smell is killing me! Ugh. /whine off)

Hey, guys, back is acting up so not at my PC much the past few days, but <hugs> anyhow. Hope things are ok for BNLater with all the fires out your way...have been thinking about you... Things are good here (except annoying back thingy) and the new job is going well. Off I go to lie down for a while so I can bend over effectively this afternoon when I am being SuperAide at the school...

So far so good binskki. Yesterday had a scare with a fire that was only a couple of miles from the new house. Being paranoid, I headed home in case I needed to grab the dogs and go, but they had it fully contained within an hour or so and completely out by sundown.
Sorry to hear about your back, that is never fun. I say frozen peas and prone on the floor with your feet on the couch so you legs are bent at a 90 degree angle! Can you tell I have back troubles? LOL

I never knew there was such a thing as a 7 string guitar!
Oh back trouble. Yup. Hunched over patients all day, I have them too. And shoulder and wrist problems. Stupid profession.
Hope it feels better binskki. Did you injure your back somehow? How about you BNLater? I'm not a fan of Chiropractors. I refuse to let anyone manipulate my neck bones. Maybe you both need some good massage therapy!
Anyhow, what thread is this again? Oh yeah, Thursday! It's Thursday! Whoo hoo! My co-worker isn't coming into work today due to a swollen eye, so now I'll b left alone with bat shit crazy hygienist today, lucky me. Then the three of us, myself, swollen eye and bat shit, will be heading to a lecture in Kelowna tonight, all day tomorrow and half of Saturday.
Then I'm taking tuzzi's girls to an outdoor theatre show that night. Should be fun! Local actors live and work on this farm near here. They write and produce outdoor plays. You are taken to each scene on a horse drawn carriage (or sleigh, depending on the time of year and whether there is snow or not). It's alot of fun and most of the time the plays are awsome. This is a halloween themed one, hopefully not too scary!
Ok, so what are everyone else's weekend plans? Boy I'm chatty this morning!
