Thursday is a good day. I've always enjoyed Thursday, probably because it just means you're that much closer to the weekend! Not much going on this Thursday, looks like it's really warm outside though, rather hazy... Seems like summer is right around the corner already! I'm not ready for heat!!!! I want it to stay cool the whole year!!!!
... and on that note... LUNCHTIME!

Just popped in here before bed to say what a great concert that was tonite, the opening act was awesome and the stage show by Brooks and Dunn was great. A very energetic duo for their ages (the must be my age, perhaps older!) and the songs were all good, you know, when they sound like they do on the CD's, that is a pleasant surprise!!! BNLater, I am glad you speak the official language of the Calgary Stampede, you will fit right in when you come for a visit!!

Glad to hear that it was a good show, iled. I honestly didn't even know they were still touring. Do they have a new album out?

Happy Thursday to everyone-no big plans here just baseball practices and 2 kids birthday parties and 2 adult birthday parties. I thought I had Friday off work but looked at the schedule yesterday and see that I am indeed working so that throws a wrench into the present shopping (I am working tonite too), oh well I hope eveyone has a great weekend!!

No plans here yet either, except a pedicure and a new set of nails on Saturday morning for me. That is my hubby's b-day too, so he will get to pick what to do!!!

Yeah, I don't get it. I thought they were <<OK>> and then they went and did that stupid reality show last summer to get their new lead singer. She said it was really good, and even like the newer stuff she hadn't realy heard before. Her and her brother both really liked them back in the day.
As to XBox 360 - Call of Duty 2 is fun - especially head-to-head with 3 other people. But it's a first person shooter war game - and you just have to like that kind of thing. If you like driving games, get Project Gotham Racing 3 - it's very cool and easy to walk away from when you get tired. I bought Blazing Angels a couple of weeks ago - a WWII flying game that's pretty fun if you like flying around. I also got Oblivion, which is supposed to be the best one on that platform so far, but I've yet to start it (a role playing game in the Elder Scrolls series).
