Hootie ROCKS!! We seriously thought about seeing them again tonite in San Diego, but thought better of it. We were right up front, which did not set well with members of his fan club, but it was awesome. We got three guitar picks...two from Darius and one from Mike (lead guitarist)
Happy almost Friday!
We are going to see Steeley Dan tomorrow and the rest of the weekend's plans are to stay out of the insane heat...yep temps going up into 110s. Anyone have fun plans for their weekend?

Did you have a run-in with a fan club member? Sounds like a pretty great night with three guitar picks!!
My aunt and uncle will be here from Texas for Friday and part of the day Saturday, so we'll be hanging out with them. Don't get to see them very much anymore, maybe once or twice a year. Although, supposedly our temperatures are only supposed to be in the 70's this weekend!!!! IF that really happens, it will be WOOOOOOONDERFUL. However, I won't believe it until I see it!

Ohhhh not me personally, but watched several have two encounters with a couple in the second row....and it is hard to explain but the second row is actually the closest to the stage at some points, and this "lady" was being very rude. It got worse when her husband/boyfriend got involved. But there was a large contingent of fan club people that were scowling at us when we took our seats, because they were off on the side. They really scowled when we got picks. We gave the first one away to the people sitting next to us, and the other two I got at the very end, and put them in my pocket!
I know that lots of LR people think that they don't get much from LR, but let me tell you from my experience this summer the tickets we get are super compared to many fan clubs including, Hootie and Counting Crows.

Happy it's almost Friday!!! We are supposed to see Paul Simon tomorrow evening and then Wicked on Saturday, with a big family dinner for Bob's daughter following the matinee.

I had an elderly uncle pass away yesterday, so I'm flying up to Baltimore for a memorial service. I originally was supposed to go with wifey to her high school 20th reunion. So I guess you could say I've gone from bad to worse.

Guess Flipper isn't really looking forward to his weekend.... BNLater on the other hand sounds like she has a fun weekend in store!
Saturday the whole famn damily is going to a Cleveland Indians game. It's supposed to be HOT. Other than that, no plans for the weekend.

oh gosh Flipper...what a horrid week for you!
I had 4.5 hours sleep worked for 9 hours and had an emotional freak-out where I almost did something really stupid....
