Awww, isn't this a nice thread, Flipper? Now tell me, would someone that is "mean" do something like this for you? I think not...
Good luck with your surgery. I hope that it either isn't too painful or that the drugs take care of it for you. Hopefully your black eyes won't be too bad from it either!

I am most hopeful that A) no packing will be required (the surgeon says his technique usually doesn't have to) and B) I won't have to take the pain meds for long.
I promise I will try to log on and let you experience Flipper in his un-natural narcotic state.
My procedure isn't until late morning/early afternoon and since I can't eat or drink anything after midnight, I'm sure I'll be begging for a glass of water and a cheeseburger by 2:00.

I updated the anarchy thread by Mobitz - but thanks to all of you for holding down the fort and all the well wishes. I guess the worst of it is over, but I'm sure when he takes out the rubber splints it won't feel very good. The surgeon everything went great and I should notice a big difference once I'm healed up.
I pretty much slept the entire day yesterday, but it was a fitful rest since I can't breath through my nose, and the back of my throat is swollen as well so I kept waking myself up 'cause I couldn't breathe very well.
My wife slept on the other end of the couch - she's been great.
