If we get anything will probably depend on how the lake effect snow travels off Lake Michigan. A couple weekends ago we weren't supposed to get any snow and we got about 4 inches of lake effect even though we aren't all that close to Lake Michigan... I can't imagine what areas like Benton Harbor and Grand Rapids got that weekend! By the end of this past weekend Ashtabula, OH, Conneaut, OH, and Erie, PA were supposed to have about 3 FEET of lake effect snowfall off Lake Erie. So yeah, the non-frozen lakes have definitely messed with the weather patterns. Although after this super cold snap they are probably at least somewhat frozen now.

Trying living close to an ocean. I think they ought to do away with weather forcast at all, it should be some guy standing outside describing what it is like. Of course that only works for the place he is standing as the weather can change dramatically in like 10 miles.

Ohhhhh, I remember lake effect snow... <feels nostalgic for her lost youth>
<looks around and finds the youth transformed into a willingness to be perpetually childish>

"Apparently" we are supposed to get 3-6". It depends how it tracks. In Northern KY, it could be 8-12 and not too far south they are saying just 1" or so. Safe to say we'll get something but how much is way up in the air. It's just funny to watch people panic around here - centers around a huge unexpected storm back in Jan 1994 when we got about 2 feet over the course of 2 nights when they had forecasted flurries. Temperatures got really cold right after and the snow stayed around for about 2 weeks and the city ran out of supplies because the interstates were shut down for a long time.

Ahhh well then at least it is not totally warranted panic. I loved snow days! It is always so quiet when there is a heavy blanket of snow, and so bright at night with a moon.

No school, once again! Hopefully not tomarrow, either. It's snowing fairly hard and we are supposed to get 3 inches. I'm just sad that I can't find BLAMen around here anywhere! I'll have to wait when I go to my art classes tommarrow night to get it. But I've waited this long, can wait one more day!

Lord, I forgot that even came out today. I've had it so long, I didn't even pay attention.

Well, I tried to be extremely patient and not buy it off iTunes. It was hard, but I thought it would be more fun in the long run to kind of spread all of it out!

I had actually forgotten about it too, Flip, until I read one of surprising's articles. Maybe I'll head to Borders tonight to see if they have it.
P.S. It is so cold in here I'm about to try to figure out if I can type with gloves on or not.

Nothing like hot weather plus humidity... Surprisingly, I think I'll stick to the snow. (If I had a choice, anyways)
