*hangs a ceramic ornament painted to look like the animal in Put Me In The Zoo on the tree* *drapes silver tinsel icicles on the tree* *turns around surprised* Oh, hi! I didn't see you there! Welcome to our humble board! What will you add to the tree? Don't worry, it's not a CHRISTMAS tree (for all you non-celebrators out there), it's a "Welcom iancurtis" tree!

Cool the tree is looking not so quite naked.
<<puts ornament of Santa in shorts and Hawaiin shirt on the tree <<strings popcorn for the tree ( I can't do it myself because of the dogs, but I love the look)

Hello and welcome....
I will add some bows to the tree and a christmas pickle.... I don't know the significance of the pickle, however it's not christmas unless the pickle has been picked to be placed on the tree!

Awwww mob, I wish that we had all of our Christmas decorations out and so that I could find the Pickle Story. I don't remember what the historical significance is, but someone is supposed to hide the pickle in the Christmas tree, and then first thing Christmas morning everyone goes on a search for the pickle. The person that hid the pickle buys a special little gift and then the person that finds the pickle gets that gift. Then the following year, the person that found the pickle does the buying and the hiding. It's a really a cute tradition and my aunt, uncle, and cousins do it every year.
