Ah, but the cupcakes were marvelous nonetheless!!
Pillsbury used to have Charlie Brown cupcakes for Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine's Day. Now they are just plain ol' Dough Boy cupcakes. They do taste identical though...

Yep, they are vanilla cupcakes with funfetti, pink icing and little heart sprinkles. They say "Valentine's Cake Mix" I believe, and it's just the dough boy standing beside a made cupcake. They still make the Halloween and Christmas ones, but I've noticed they are increasingly harder to find. My grocery didn't carry either Halloween or Christmas, but does have these. Target had the Christmas ones but that's the only place I saw them.

They've been quite popular here at the office, and everyone was skeptical since I made them. I'm not really sure what that's all about, cause I'm a pretty good cook!
