How nice to start out Monday with a song, Brian... lol. Today has started out poorly: burned my finger making tea and then promptly whacked my knuckle and skinned it all up while getting spoons out of the cupboard. But other than that, it's been uneventful.  Hotter than hades here, which I'm not a fan of in the least, and unfortunately there's no end in sight. Wow, I'm griping a lot this morning! So one more before I move on, I have a cold!! Curses to the recirculated air on an airplane and total exhaustion of my mini-vacation!! Okay, I'm better now! Thanks guys! I'll gladly take your rain over the 90's they have forecasted for this area. NOT a fan of heat in the least!!
P.S. I'm already drugged for my cold, Brian, but I will take the band-aid as my knuckle is still bleeding a bit.

I guess Brian took care of all the medication... what can I give you to help?  I've been feeling blah all weekend, and although I'm in a better mood today, I still feel like going to bed... or maybe that's because I didn't meet my sleep requirements last night... anyhoo, I'm tired. Spending whole days at home can be tiresome you know. |

Hmmm, how about a pillow for my desk, Ludwig? That way I can catch up on some needed rest to help me over this cold? Sorry to hear you didn't get enough sleep. Don't you know that all good Pirods need their beauty rest?! I do know what you mean about not doing anything making you more tired than if you had been busy all day, I've done that many times myself. |

*hands nonick a Pirod Pillow(tm)* here ya go, with all the designs and everything Yes, I know I should get my beauty sleep, but it's just so hard recently... I'll try tonight I swear! Oh, rain's coming! I hate to say this, but FINALLY! Maybe it'll get rid of the forest fires raging north, and get the smog out of here for some finally cooler weather. |

Yeah... I have to aerate and overseed my yard. My home is only a few years old, hence, the lawn is very young and needs TLC. I want to get that done today since we're going to have so much rain in the next two weeks.
