Huh. The sun did come up this morning.
And I just saw a picture of the final show. And I was possibly closer to Steve than anyone other than the band as they took a final bow.
And I'm wondering if this ties into my "1" connection.

Well, the sun did come up, but at least here it's pretty cloudy. I'm trying not to intentionally think sad thoughts about all this. I'm still listening to GBS, which is generally pretty uplifting anyway. "And if the devil'd take her, I'd thank him for his pain... I swear to God I'll hang meself if I get married again...
I wish we could all hang out right now though, I'm sure we'd be laughing our asses off!
BTW, good to know where you are today BNLater, so I don't wait for you online!!

I'm betting the mamo is alot more fun then the special x-ray I had done 2 weeks ago. It's called a hysterosalpingogram and it was horribly uncomfortable. I'm just going to leave it at that.
Never had a mamo though, so I can't compare. Hope it all went well though!

Well, once again, it is Wednesday. The lovely center of the work week. I'm on a little sugar rush because tis the season of the luscious jelly bean. Now, I know your saying, "What is wrong with you woman? You can get jelly beans anytime of the year." And you would be quite correct. But it is at this time of the year, when the jelly beans are picked at just the right moment, that they taste their most delish. Other times its just . So the question then becomes: What is your favorite jelly bean and why?

A local supermarket did there own brand of jelly beans and I was a major fan of the banana (yellow with orange spots) and pink grapefruit.
However, they've now taken out everything that was bad for you in them so they don't taste the same. . . .government spoiling everything!

I was quite fond of Jelly Belly's recipes, but I don't know that I ever had one particular flavor that was my favorite. I typically like the fruit flavors - tangerine, etc.

Well the simplest of answers.........the black ones, because they are the best!!!! I am also fond of Brach's Spiced Jelly Beans. I say Brachs because we bought a bag of an off brand the other night while waiting for Bob's prescription.......and they were NASTY! I also move many of the flavors of Jelly Bellys, but nothing will ever replace black!

I understand why you want us to be excited, but it's hard for me right now.
Which is why I feel like voicing the question I've had for the past week... Sorry, this is probably less pleasant than "why are you so awesome?": Was there any thought to changing the name (Perhaps CSR&H)?- to what extent is keeping the name an economic decision versus a creative statement for what we can expect from the next album? Willow, I Am Barenaked Ladies. I'm proud of it, dedicated 20 years of my life to it, have no qualms about it and fully embrace it. I'll fight for the name that is synonymous with great music, social conscience and good will. I won't standby and let that name be destroyed by indifference, ill-will or sabotage. Economic decision versus creative statement? I'm a 41 year old father of two with and amazing job. I earn money for my family doing something I love and which was on the verge of being destroyed. I don't give a rats ass about art vs. commerce. I make great music, and I'm happy doing it. I'm very confident in my ability to do it and the absolute conviviality of Kevin, Jim and Ed. If you ever derive a fraction of the satisfaction that I and my current bandmates derive from our Job, Willow, then congratulations. You'll understand the intense desire to keep doing it, growing it, and evolving it. TS
