Well, long time no type for Tuesdays. I thought I would trickle in and say howdy. While I was grocery shopping today, I happened to remember my friend's daughter just had a baby-her fourth-and I wanted to get her a little something for her new little man. It's always nice to have something new for your baby even though he's your fourth child and you've got a ton of stuff left over from the other three. And besides, it was fun shopping for baby clothes considering it has been a long time since I have for myself and it will hopefully be a long time in the future before I buy some for my daughter.
Tuesday here in the Ohio Valley is spectacular. Sunny and warm. Beeeautiful! But wait. What is that on the horizon? Oh, no!. More frickin' rain. It seem like every week now we have one good day and six days of rain of some kind or the other. Not flooding rain. Just enough to be a bother. But carpe diem. Enjoy what you got because you never know. Could be worse.

Wow it has been a while silly...sounds fantastic where you are! It's actually been fairly sunny here today, not too shabby. But my window can only tell that story. I've been in the hospital today, probably not leaving but I managed to convince someone to bring me my laptop! Very uncomfortable, but the sun is shining and I'm still here!

It's late. Tuesday is slowly dissolving into Wednesday. I'm about to go to bed. But I wanted to tell Kevfan that any ray of sunshine is beautiful, whether you are able to lift your face up to it when outside or streaming through a window. I'm sorry your in the hospital and in pain. But as you said, you are still here and the sun is shining and that is truly something.

I'm here. Lurking. Just struggling to get used to all the changes in my life lately. It's been tougher than I expected. I don't want to be a downer, especially when my problems are nothing compared to others around here!

Well, I guess I should take off my invisibility cloak and say a few words. I haven't been on for a while because of things-just things. Things that get in the way. Don't you just hate those big, ugly things. They sit right in your way, scratching their humongous, hairy bellies and pretend they don't notice you while you TRY to get around them.
The good-my daughter made it through her freshman year in high school with A's and one B. Now, that might not seem like reason to celebrate but if you knew the struggle it was to just get my son through school period you would understand my glee.
The bad-my son. 'Nuff said.
The ugly-things aren't going too well for us economically speaking. It's the first thing I think about in the morning and the last thing I think about at night. We are better off than some but for how long, I don't know.
So, taking all that into account, I have been busy and woefully behind in my messages here. Hopefully, if I can, I will try to be on more often. One final comment, the picture of Steve and his girlfriend--Ew. And furthermore, ew.

Sillylily good to see you, and thanks for checking in. About the good...........wooo hooooo. Believe me I DO understand, having been down The Bad route myself with my son. The Bad...........I am sorry to hear that. How old is he? If you ever need an understanding ear, please use me...............I have been down the road...........but can show you there is light at the end of the tunnel!!! The Ugly.........I hear that sister. Hang in there!!!

Quiet here on Monday. But it's Tuesday now and I should be in bed because I'm still getting up early, dammit. My daughter is wisely taking phys. ed. this summer to get her credits in and not have to take the class during the regular school year. I have to say, though, that it sounds to me like it's very unstructured. I asked her how they grade you on this and she said you get credit for showing up and participating. Wow. A hundred dollars per term for a day care camp for my teenager. Alrighty then. Speaking of teenager, my baby will be fifteen on Friday. She doesn't want a party or a big todo. Just to go to a movie with some friends. She's a good kid.
My son, to answer your question BNLater, is twenty. That's in years. Maturity-wise, not so many years. Tell me again that there is an end to this trip we've been on with him these last seven years. I lost my faith in that about four years back. I feel like we are on a train that runs an endless loop and there is no getting off for us. But you caught me on a particularly down day. The future is difficult to grasp. Some days are better than others. Just not this day. Sorry, I can only play Debbie Downer for so long before I snap out of it. Hopefully, today or tomorrow. Or not. Who knows?

Sorry to hear about your woes, silly... I hope the gap between your son's maturity level and his actual age starts to get much smaller in the near future!
Well, it's Tuesday here.... nothing much happnin'. Just looking forward to Deadliest Catch tonight and then After the Catch starts tonight, too. This season ATC is with Ben Bailey. This should be fun to watch!
Hope everyone is having a splendid Tuesday!
