Hello everybody! I'm fairly new here, so I'm still trying to figure this out! I want to thank Andrea, though, for referring me to the site! (We met after the Columbus show!) Well, anywho, I did a portrait of Steve in my art class, and I thought I would share it! When I showed him after the show, he really liked it! He told me it was awesome, and that he was very honored that I would do my portrait of him!

Oh yeah! Probably at barenaked.net, because I think I posted it there. And by looking at your email address, I think I contacted you about my Columbus stick not working. Although, I think I'll call nettwerk first, before I send it. I don't know if it'll do any good, though. Hopefully I can get it fixed!

I meant to ask you Devin, what was the media that you used, pencil, charcoal, conte, etc.?

Devin they can't fix it without having it. The solution I gave you IS Nettwerk's solution....mail it so you can get it back ASAP.

Okay then, I guess I'll end up sending it. For the drawing I used pencil, and a smudge stick thing.. Which was just a rolled up peice of paper in the shape of a pencil. I probably used it the most, especially around the face, it made everything blend together fairly nicely.

Awesome drawing! I don't do real people well at all. LOL I'm lucky if they're recognizable. And oddly, I have these tiny bursts of artistic energy when I can do something very well, but can't do it whenever I want to.

Part 2 of the Steven Page project is now completed! I started to run out of pattern ideas as you can tell, and some of them are kind of dumb. That's becuase I did this in about 2 days. This actually could've been alot better, but I really wasn't that interested in doing it.
