Since not everyone was on the cruise and probably not everyone got down to see my door decs anyway, I might as well post the main part here. This was the centerpiece, anyway - I also printed out about 50 "shower invites" for people to take for Steven's baby shower. I think I may get it signed by Steve if there's a good time to do it over the next year.

Haha! That is AWESOME! Excellent shading! It looks like you took the same photo as I used for when I drew Steve by looking at the face... Do you know if he saw it or not? That is just wicked... Thanks for posting!

I actually walked past your door several times, yay, but had no clue it was yours! Did you see that someone else used the same idea, same photo, but they photoshopped in Steve's head? Just for the record, yours was much better!!

Thanks, Devin! I did use the same picture, just flipped it. It was the only one I could find with decent enough positioning to put his head on that body. I do know that Steve saw it too - I had said that I hoped it didn't offend him and he said not at all, he found it very funny. And I did see that other one - I've heard that every "great" idea has already been had by someone else. Guess that was proven true about this one. LOL Oh well. It was really fun to make and I think if there's a decent time to do so this year, I'll try to get him to sign it.

I would post my door decorations, but I don't know if pornography is allowed on this board! ;D

Yay... That is an awesome door. I had a shower invitation but my BIL stole it. I thought it was cool that you took the time to draw and it was so professionally done. Lots of $$$ on the copies of the invite. I had no idea you did it either. Nicely done. Also.... he's having his baby on my birthday! How could I not love it?

LOL... I was actually thinking as I was waiting for this page to load and I saw that you had the last response on the thread, "I don't think surprising's door decor is suitable for a family oriented message board!!"

Thanks, surprising. I don't draw very often but every once in awhile I get inspired to do a project. This one had me giggling the whole time I was doing it. I saw your door decs too, but didn't lift the beard! Dang. I thought it was great though!

If you didn't lift the beard then you missed the best (?) part. I have pics somewhere. I will try to post them later. I am still knee deep in learning HTML and FTP and taking care of my MIL. Gah... I thought your drawing looked very "Vanity Fair"ish
