LOL Flipper BNLater, the job's great... I had it last year also, so I know how everything goes and stuff... different boss though, and unstability at the museum doesn't help, but it'll be a fiiiine summer. I might even get to see some concerts, since the summer shows are now held on the site where I'm working, so access to tickets is pretty easy *sighs for Vancouver*

Just for Flipper..in order 1. BNL in Vancouver - oh, hell yeah 2. Moody Blues - mmm, probably 3. Wallflowers - oh yes 4. Loggins and Messina - heard they were back together 5. Chris Botti - ahh, no. 6. Hootie and the Blowfish - intriguing 7. Alanis - decent with BNL, but probably not 8. BB King - most definitely, esp if Clapton was w/ him 9. James Taylor - one time to say I saw him 10. Big Bad Voo Doo Daddy - yes, yes, yes 11. Cheap Trick/Alice Cooper - not for cash 12. Brian Setzer (ok not in summer season)- DECEMBER for me to!

Flipper why don't you like Chris Botti? After you answer I will tell you why we are going to that one. I am really looking forward to Alanis..it is an all acoustic set, in a small like venue. What's wrong with Cheap Trick? Now I have " I Want You to Want Me" stuck in my head!!!!
I also have tickets to Hall and Oates..anyone want to buy them? We had ordered our season from Premiere Club before my son's school announce graduation day....Flipper you like them?

Trumpet guy yes? I can't say that I dislike him, I guess I don't know his music well enough to have an interest in seeing him in concert. I like Hall & Oates OK, but it's definitely a throwback to my musical experience as a youth. Cheap Trick....eeehhhhh...marginal.

Flipper my secretary is a huge Botti fan. However, she would never go see him unless there were plans to do so. So for secretary's day I got her a ticket and got tickets for my hubby and I to go too.

I don't think so Flipper. We work well together, and socialize fairly frequently. I do nice things for people all the time. It always makes me happy when I know I have done something that they will really like. I guess if you want her side you can email her and ask.

Probably not necessary. I was just curious if she has a tough job keeping up with you. Didn't mean hard on her like unfriendly hard, just very busy hard.

Well I don't think she sits and twiddles her thumbs alot. But I do like 90% of all drafting on the keyboard, so that lightens the load to her...unless of course I am working off a client's document that came in Word...then it is formatting hell for her...but not my fault.

So late, but Benjy, thank you so much for the guitar wisdom!! I had been looking at that Ibanez model before, but the Epiphone is one I'll have to look into.
Considering Better than Ezra next Saturday for $1, only trouble is I only know about 2.5 of their songs. But it should be fun. Big and Rich the following Friday with my sister. Even though they're country, they're so witty and fun, they remind me of a Southern BNL. Other than that, I got nothing scheduled. really pissed because my childhood legend, John Mellencamp, is coming with none other than John Fogerty, who was one of the first concerts I've ever been to, about 3 days before I get home from Governor's School. grrr.
BNLater, I'm so jealous! I've seen James Taylor five times (I think) but it's been at least 5 years since the last time, and with me being a wee one then, I don't have full memory of it, which sucks. Hope he plays Sweet Baby James for you, that's my favourite. And I was supposed to see Cheap Trick with Aerosmith about a year ago, but it was cancelled, I think Steve Tyler was sick. lucky you.
