Wowsers... I've never felt so congratulated! It feels pretty cool actually...
Dijon- You have to be 15 1/2 to get your learners permit in Ohio.
Surprising- All I had to do was take a test on a touch screen, it was fairly simple. There was 40 questions and if you missed 11 you failed. It automatically turns off once you all the questions correct that are needed to pass. I think I got 7 or 8 wrong. But it sounds like you had an awful time! I don't know when I'll start taking my classes yet, once I get the money, I guess.
Jessica- It wasnt that bad. Kenton is pretty easy driving, and I didn't even barely see another car when we delivered my newspapers in Ridgeway. The only difficulty was the snow, and it's all melting now!
Yay- That is really funny, eh. I'm sure it could have been worse, though!
So, this weekend or next, I will be learning or trying to learn to drive a stick shift... My parents tell me it will be easy, but I am a slow learner. My dad's truck is an automatic, and my dad works 2nd shift, so I will only get to drive his truck on the weekends from now on. So thats why I need to learn to drive my mom's car.

I was afraid of the responsibility that came with driving. I didn't feel like I was ready at 16 to get behind the wheel of a car when one mistake could potentially kill someone. I'm kind of weird. LOL Most kids think, "Yay! Freedom!" I was thinking, "Oh God! The ridiculous amount of responsibility!"

I didn't get my license until I was 18 years old and a freshman in college. I didn't have a car to drive at that point anyway, so I figured it didn't really matter much. Plus, I still think that 15.5 years old is too young to start learning to drive, no offense Devin!! I've always felt that way, I think that maybe if kids had to mature a little bit more before they were allowed to drive that they might be better drivers in the long run... Or perhaps it doesn't matter in the least and asshole drivers are destined to be asshole drivers from birth!!
P.S. Oh my goodess Jessica... your story had me giggling like a crazy person!!

Wow, Mobitz... That's pretty scary!
I also do beleive that 15 1/2 is a very young age to begin driving... But I'm not complaining! I only drive where I feel safe, and I always try to be a safe driver. I've had a little practice on the country backroads with my dad, so I knew a little what to expect. What kid hasn't drove illegally before their permit? I never did it that much, just enough to get the "feel" of the truck.
My best friend drove ALL the way to New York City about 2 weeks after she got her permit.. and even into the city! Her and her mom were going to switch before they got into the city, but since her mom is an idiot, that didn't happen. Thankfully, they are both okay, I'm just glad she told me after they were already into the city. I would never even think of doing that, or even letting my own child do that!

15 and a half?!?!?! Really? Wow, you have to be 16 here in Canada, and it takes about 2 years to get fully lisenced. Wow, that is young. I think 16 is too young as well.

In Australia its 16 and 3 months to get your learners permit...to get your probationary licence the minimum age is 17 and on your on your P's for 2yrs
thing is the legal drinking age in Australia is 18yrs - not 21yrs like it is in USA and Canada

Good. Ness. Devin.... I wouldn't drive in NYC! Let alone your friend that had just gotten her temps!! Those people are crazy there! Nutsos! I guess the one really good thing about that though is that if she could handle that, she can handle just about anything!

Actually Dragon, the drinking age in Canada is 19 years old. We have a couple of provinces that are 18 years old.

Y'know, I've never even seen the Gilmore Girls... I don't watch alot of TV, though. Except for American Idol which comes on tonight! Woo-hoo!
I watched Little Miss Sunshine last night, and it was probably the best movie I have seen in a long time. I'm going to definately have to watch it again before I take it back to Family Video.
Yep, so... Thats about it. Because I have such an eventful life.

Aren't we all leading rock star lives?!! LOL Working here as usual. Jessica at least there is a bright spot at the end of the day for you today, that always makes life fun. Me, I have to look forward to heading home, hitting the treadmill, then a shower and probably going through my closet some more. Last night I got my new CD cabinet and now BNL has its very own cabinet. It has a few years of growth, depending on how much they tour!! LOL But the videos and DVDs are not in there, it was not quite THAT big.

BNLater, I must ask, have you ever found that extra copy of Rock Spectacle? I've got a burnt copy, and I'm debating whether to buy it or not!
