I like it Devin. Thanks for doing that. The opening of threads is open to all...so if you ever see a thread at 10 pages feel free to open a new one and I will lock the old one when I sign on. Not some things go in order, but you are a smart cookie (as my grandmother used to say) and I bet you have that figured out.

Well thanks for all the luck, because it definately paid off! And I did study at school today, I'm glad I did, but I probably could have passed without. I got my permit and drove home, and then drove my mom on the paper route and had her do it for a day! It was definately cool... My parents picked the furniture early this morning.. It looks great!

Tuesday is almost over, but hey, I still managed to post. Today was pretty good, minus a horrible math quiz.... of satan!
Congrats, Devin!! I can get mine after the 12th of next month. In your state, is it 15 or 15 1/2?

Congrats Devin! I passed my written part ( a loooong time ago) with a 98%. When it came time to do the driving part I was driving my mother's VW Dasher and I had the engine on (we were all in a long line and it would move up like we were getting fast food or something... very strange) and the fan kept kicking on to keep the engine cool. It was December, but it was Texas, so there ya go. When the man finally got in my car to do the test we had to do the safety inspection first. (right blinker ~ check left blinker ~ check...) and when it came time to do the horn, it didn't work! Turns out the horn was on the same circuit as the fan and wouldn't work with the fan on. I was sooo bummed. It also freaked me out made me really nervous to try again. I failed parallel parking (which I can do like a rock star now) and I didn't look in the rear view mirror enough. I don't remember my grade.... 80 something? I am soooo glad you passed and didn't have to go back! Whoot! Whoot!

I got 100% after 5 goes...so I was chuffed at that!!!
I have had my learners for almost 3yrs and I havent had a driving lesson yet, the people who are teaching have other things to deal with like my sister who has leukemia.....just as well I am patient until it wears thin!!!!

Way to go Devin! Sheesh, all that driving right away? I was so bad when I got my learners. My mom decided to let me drive from the grocery store to the drug store in Deep River, Ontario and I paniced and covered my eyes and let go of the wheel. My mom can reallycuss like a sailor at times. Yup.
Good stuff though, congrats!

Congrats Devin! I got my learners at the "right" age, but then refused to learn to drive. LOL I didn't end up getting my driver's license until the day before I graduated from high school, and that was only because my mom called my school, found out the teacher I had a crush on taught Behind the Wheel driving, and signed me up without telling me. I probably wouldn't have learned even then if she hadn't embarrassed me into it.
