Baby names picked out FOr a girl it's Emileigh Marie (I'm not so sure on the spelling of Emily. I think I like it the traditional way.) and for a boy it's Phillip Taylor

Emily is just a girls name we both like and Marie is Chris' Grandma. Phillip was Chris' dad and Taylor is my maiden name. So it all worked out. Chris said that Phillip Taylor sounds like a snob though! Ha ha! Not my kids!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! I'm very happy for you! I like both names, and my vote is for Emily spelled Emily, I'm old fashioned when it comes to names though.

Well the "Leigh" part of the name is because I was born in Leigh, England. Both my other girls have it in their name too, but it just doesn't look right as Emileigh. Every time I see it spelled that was I think of Emril Lagasse for some reason...urgh! We've got a ton of time to figure it out anyhoo.

neat idea iled!!
I like Phillip Taylor... It blends pretty well.
I think Emma Leigh would be too much...
I like Emily better. I have a pretty unique name, and it's mispronounced and misspelled a lot.
STOP WITH THE THINKS AND LIKES. Plus, did you think that "leigh" and "marie" rhyme?
But kids change their names all the time now... it's very weird, I grew up with a girl called Abby, but she goes by Stephanie now (it is, after all, her real name), and a girl who went by..uh... a name with an M, and now is "Xandra".........and need I mention my sister, who recently changed her last name?

I agree marketed that as a whole first name Emma Leigh might look like a bit much on paper but I was thinking more along the lines as Emma (first name) Leigh (2nd name) .....last name. You are right about mispronounced names, I am sure that was not so much fun for you as a kid!!
