nonick, that day I should not be doing a lot of labor, other than running up and down stairs directing where furniture goes. But I am sure I will be exhausted.

Moving is always exhausting, I don't care how much help you have.
Madelyn started kindergarten today. *sniff, sniff* I haven't talked to Miranda yet to see how she held up as the little angel was walking in the door. She also lost her first tooth on Monday so Miranda is dealing with two growing up milestones this week.
I was always a boober baby when my kids started school.

Hey there BNLater I really feel for you and all that moving stuff. I am moving this weekend too and am at a total loss as to what gets packed. I keep losing stuff or having to give stuff up because I keep moving into smaller places.

Sorry Nonick I guess I missed a lot lately. What are you going to school for now? I am excited that I have someone that feels the same anxiety as I do with starting school and buying expensive books. My monday is my late night. I am there from 1:30 until 8:00pm not looking forward to that.

LAURAP!!! Long time no see, or chat! Ahh moving.....I used to do it all the time, and therefore did not have the accumulation. But we have been in this house for 18 years! And then there is my hubby who is the king of pack rats! OK not king, but perhaps prince! Of course then my parents help out by deciding to move into a retirement center soon and my dad brought over their SUV loaded with stuff I might want! ARGGGHHH. Anyway, back to fun stuff.

LauraP! Wow! I haven't heard from you since yesterday! Got your message about the Llamas. you know what was really funny? And you aren't going to believe this at all. But just after I listened to your voice mail, I walked to the bank, and there was Mike Roberts and a camera man walking downtown to film a clip for the news. Freeeeee-ky! Oh, and you geek, going to school when there was no class! Did you moved alright?
Did you get all moved BNLater?
Good for you no nick! I'd like to go back to school myself. My shoulder won't hold out in this profession much longer. I'd like to get into accounting. I like math and numbers. Who knows.
So hey, it's Wednesday and stuff. I'm pretty sad abot the whole Owen Wilson thing. I love him.
Have a great day everyone!

We have the Math Department party for Dr. Sexy on Friday so I am cleaning house. Let me tell ya, it doesn't matter if your son is 8, 18 28... it still bites to have to tell them to clean their room. Oh well, at least he's home!
We have cloudy skies and intermittent rain. Last night there was thunder and lightening with wind gusts that were luckily in other parts of the valley. Once or twice, for about two minutes, I felt like I was back in Texas. Man, I miss thunderstorms.
Have a great Wednesday everyone!

surprising I love thunderstorms, and we don't get squat here in southern California. Actually there was a very short lived one on Sunday evening............reminded me of growing up during tornedo season.
Good luck with the party, it is a big deal? Fancy stuff? Or just good food, nice people and inspiring conversation?

Hey BNLater. I don't think we could do fancy stuff if you paid us to have it catered. When you walk in my house IMMEDIATELY on the left side of the door, along the wall are two cat towers and a cage with two guinea pigs. In front of you on the floor is the dog cushion. We like to spend most of our time in the living room and the "babies" are all family and want to be with "mom and dad" so they live in the living room too. That being said, we are clean. A little cluttered at times, but not dirty. We have beige carpet that is actually beige! Wow! It may have a little timothy hay on it, but it's clean! LOL It is mostly friends so it will be a good time. The Dean may stop by and some of the people in the department love my husband less than some others, so I like to have things nice for him. If it was up to Kent he would run the vacuum and call it good. His idea of cleaning is to move the pile of Newsweek magazines from the couch, where they are piled wating for me to read, to the coffee table. He is sooo easy going. There just isn't a lot we stress over. I worry more than he does. I tell people we have to have parties every three months or so just to make me clean the house! LOL LOL We are making Lasagna and people are bringing everything else. Whoot! Easy cheesy. I am taking some online classes and procrastinated a bit more than I should have so I am just stressed over doing assignments in addition to everything else. Hope y'all are doing well too. How are the homes? Do you have the old one ready to show? I am keeping you in my thoughts.

surprising, you sound much like me. I am not for formality, if people come to my house they should make themselves at home and enjoy time with friends!!! Lasagna sounds great..........one of my favorites so you don't have to be in the kitchen and miss the time with friends!
The old house is not ready to show again quite yet. We got a dumpster coming today and Sunday is clean like made people day! The last of all the crap will be gone...I hope....and my son's carpet ripped up, ready to lay new carpet! I am having a cleaning crew come in next week and wash walls and shampoo the carpet etc. Then open houses will start again!
