I hate thunder storms, used to get alot of them back in Ontario. I like the more casual things in my home as well. I should make a vegetarian lasagne again, I love it. Well BNLater, hopefully your old house will sell quickly. Maybe having it empty will help. People can picture their own stuff in there and see the possibilities. It's like a pallet waiting to be painted Good luck with everything!

And for the record, I love my veggie lasagna.

It sounds like you have a great plan, BNLater. That's half the battle right there.
We are making a veggie and a meat/veggie combo. We will have one tiny little meat only one for Kent's old secretary. She is old school Utah and does not like anything spicy or "weird" like veggies in lasagna. *eye roll* This is a really strange state, they are some of the most bland cookers I have ever encountered. I know I am a spicy girl, being from Texas I am proud of that fact, but COME ON people. Work with me! LOL She's a nice lady though. She cried when she retired at the age of 80 (yes eighty!) but she had to stay home and take care of her husband. She loves Kent like a son.
Back to cleaning.

I don't think veggies and meat should be mixed in lasagna. Go one way or the other!
What part of Texas, SW?

I don't think veggies and meat should be mixed in lasagna. Go one way or the other! What part of Texas, SW? It's delish! Plus, it's a way to get non-veggie eaters to try things. I am hoping my SIL will give it a go. I lived in Arlington for many, many years. The whole fam damily is still there.

SW - fam damily LMAO!!!!
yeah I am the only in my family that is a bland eater, mind you my son is on a strict diet as he cannot consume any artificial flavours, colours or preservatives, MSG, sylicates and amines and artificial sweeteners send him climbing the walls

We are extremely lucky. We have hayfever out the wazoo, but no food allergies. I hear about people with such restrictive diets and I can't imagine. It must really be difficult at times. Maybe he can grow out of it.

I think I'd eat lasagna made with cow pies if it had enough cheese in it.
I used to run a paper in Seguin, TX, about a half an hour from San Antonio. God, do I miss real Mexican food.
