Mexican food (well, food in general) was one of the toughest things to adjust to when we moved to Utah. If it has orange grease and comes with a tortilla chip it is Mexican food here. They finally have some that are decent, but I LOVE the Tex-Mex even more than Mexican.
Kent and I probably go out to eat twice a year. I am such a picky monster and I love to cook, it's just easier to do it myself. I do have a huge batch of tomatillos that need to be harvested. Chili Verde here we come!

I love Mexican food too, well except for the refried beans. Really spice is good too, a good sweat from a meal is good for you!
Tex-mex? Is that like Chilis? Steak and stuff with a mexican flair? I think we have had the Chi-chi's discussion here somewhere before and for the record I miss the place, sorry for the people who got e-coli but I really liked that place.
I make good spanish rice and chicken echiladas. Kids won't eat it so we don't have it that often...

Mmmmm... You guys are making me hungry!
Dragon, sorry to hear about your throat infection... Those are the worst! Hope you get to feeling better soon!
I'm finally recovering from the fair, I was on Jr. Fairboard and was there every day from 8 in the morning to 10 at night. Then Saturday I saw ZZtop in C-bus... Awesome concert if I ever saw one!

I love spicey food. Unfortunately my acid reflex doesn't, but I still indulge every so often. Nacho's are so damn yummy.

Devin are you talking about Ohio State Fair? I miss that fair! So ZZ was good huh? We only stayed for the first few songs when he played as the headliner after 5 other bands.
I love spicey, but not thrilled about chili HOT, if it is too HOT. It takes away from the rest of the flavors for me. Now bring on the horseradish so that my sinus open up immediately. I gorw like four kinds of peppers for a lady here in my office who will often just grab one and bite it..........OWWWWWW!

I prefer limes to lemons, and the ones off our tree are wonderful!

Actually, BNLater, I was talking about our county fair. I have never actually been to the Ohio State fair, but everybody who's been there says it's basically the same thing as our fair, only bigger.
Oh, and I LOVE to eat lemons! I'm not too big on limes though.

Ahhh ok Devin. County fairs rock too, but there is nothing like the Ohio State Fair. Ahhh the memories of being in high school and spending days at the fair, mostly watching the horse show etc., but eating crap and having a great time!

I ate crap all week, and it made me half sick. Fair food didn't even sound good after the first day. Of course, I got to eat free... But most of the days I would only eat once because it was so gross!

LOL Devin. I really like fair food, but not sure I could do it day after day. We go to the Del Mar Fair each year and usually end up at Orange County Fair for a part of a day because of a concert........and I love the homemade potato chips, half pound buns, artichokes, fried zucchini etc.
