When ever you are ready. Just call first so I can make sure the birdfeeders are full. We will sit on the deck and eat fried cheese until we can't anymore.

surprising that sounds like a wonderful time indeed. I have never been in the state of Utah, so we will have to come investigate someday.

You bet Dragon! I would love to have some friends to watch birds with. The hummingbirds are migrating so we don't have as many of those, but I have so many Pine Siskins right now they fill two thistle feeders. I am going through over a pound a day! There are babies that are so darn cute though so it's all good.

surprising there are like no birds in our new place, too new of a neighborhood. We have our feeder out, and I am sure once one bird finds it they will all find it. I have not seen any hummingbirds at all, but might need to plant things that attract them.

New neighborhoods look so stark until they get "softened" by occupation and trees. You are right though, the birds will find your feeder and mark it on the map.

I hope before too long, I miss my birds. I had one gnat catcher that used to sit and wait for me to water in the evenings to stir up bugs.

Jessica I guess then that the close of business today will be the middle of your week! See still humpday for you!
So what does everyone's weekend have in store? We are meeting a contractor at the new house on Saturday morning to get a quote to do the courtyard and loggia floor. I realized that if everyone shows up for Turkey Day we will have 20 people, and need the courtyard for seating. We bought an awesome deep seating set, now just need the concrete in so we can use it. Then we are seeing Camelot with Lou Diamond Phillips as the King. I am still a bit leary, as I do not see him in that part, but it will probably be great. Sunday, it is back to the old house for some yardwork and perhaps some touch up paint! I bet you all wish you were here huh?

BNLater, sounds like fun....sort of. Thanksgiving is in 2 weeks for us, we hope to be camping that weekend. We are going againt his weekend for Troys birthday. The weather has been pretty good so we thought we would get our a few more times. I kind of like camping when it is cool, you get a fire all the time so you can roast a hot dog anytime! The kids are dying to sleep in the tent so we will try that too with lots and lots of blankets.
What is the loggia? I am guessing it is either a patio or a deck? I am a bit behind here, are you living in the new house yet?

iled, yep we have been in the house since September 3rd. The loggia is a room that houses a huge Viking grill and cabinets and will eventually have a huge table in it. It opens to the courtyard, and the double doors are the only access. If you open the double doors from the house and the double doors to the loggia is it like a huge indoor/outdoor space! Hard to describe. You need to come out and see it!
