I wonder what spanker is up to today in jolly ole England? Perhaps some tea and crumpets for breakfast, and then a ride in through the English countryside?

Cheers love! BNLater...on March 15th I was at the doctors office with a kidney infection..Ewwwww!!!! yeah that sucked but I still had a great time! I went to Birmingham, St. Albans and London. I had a really really good time and if I could figure out how to post pictures on this blasted forum I'd post a few. Just thought I'd make a formal announcement. Spencer (the lad I went to meet) asked me to marry him and I accepted his proposal. We havent set a solid date but we are hoping for early summer next year. I am in the process of liquidating all my stuff and will be making the final leap over the pond in late July! Just thought I'd let you all know why its taken me so long to get my ass (oops...can I say that?) on here and let ya'll know how it went! I did eat fish and chips..that was tasty but I can't say I faired well with the Steak and Kidney pie.... *blech* Anywhooosle...I have to get some work done so's they dont fire my ass (woo..there it is again!) before I have a chance to quit! If you have any questions please post a question I will do my best to post an answer to you! Thank you so much for all your well wishes and lovely thought. I really do feel like I've made some good friends on here....Even Brian! *Hugs to Brian*

Well let the one mammal on the board be the first to congratulate you Spanker. Marriage is a wonderful thing (most days anyway) and it's great to hear you excited! The wonderful thing about this damn internet is you can still keep in touch once you get through the move and all the festivities. I'm sure more gushing words will follow from others... ~Flipper~

Now i wonder if you pronounce Chic "chick" or the French way. Hum hum hum...
Congratulations. How did he propose? Or is that a weird question? Or will you not even answer it...?
Lastly..why is everyone getting married around here? Ahh well...

We went to his nieces wedding and at the reception we sat with his nephew Simon (who is about the same age as Spencer). We were all carrying on and what not and Spence got up to get us drinks and when he left Simon said "We've all been waiting for Spencer to fall in love and settle down...get maried for a long time." and I smiled and said "If he asked me I'd marry him" and directly after that Spencer came back and asked what we were talking about. So I told him and when I got to the last part he just smiled really big. About 20 min later he leans over and whispers "Marry me" in my ear so I leaned over and whispered "I will" in his ear. He bought me a promise ring two days later (it took that long to find the perfect one) and said that when he comes out in July to meet my family and friends he will ask me again with a real deal ring. That, my darling, is how it happened!

What is this ONE mammal idea flipper?
Spanker I have a question..why would you try something called with kidney and pie in the same name?
I already gave you congrats..but I will do it publicly. I agree with flipper (scary I know) that on most days marriage is wonderful..on the other days you just need to remember the good days, keep the lines of communication open, and work at it every day.
