I figured that was THE GAME you were referring to. I have fond memories of making tons of money when that GAME was in town!

Happy Birthday!
I have no idea what a buckeye is.
I do remember the big TX/OU game though. Talk about an insane party. *deep sigh* I never actually went mind you, but we had some fun at people's houses. I understand being in the thick of the crowd by the CottonBowl is like being in New Orleans close to Fat Tuesday.

Okay... you asked for it, Surprising!!! Buckeyes still on the tree in their shells: Buckeyes that have fallen and are mostly out of their shells: Comparing the nut and the candy Buckeyes: ...then of course there is always Brutus Buckeye!!

Funny, we call those chestnuts, and the casings/shells are different here in the Northeast.

surprising the Buckeye candy is like a Reeses cup. The inside is peanut buttery you shape into a ball and they you dip part way into chocolate. They are YUMMY!!!
Told I believe that the Ohio Buckeye is the same as the Horse Chestnut

We often take buckeyes to the sushi nazi as our sacrifice for the evening.
HAIL TO THE VICTORS.
