I think I got our taxes done today. I will go over them tomorrow to make sure it is all good. I just can't justify our accountant without my biz expenses. The kids came over and we celebrated St. Pat's again. All is good in my world. Jane... sooo.... details? Bin... sounds like time to play with the puppy. (cute pics on S&D, I thought about you with that thread!) Devin... Neopolitan means birthdays to me, we always had that kind. YUM Mob... I have never seen the beauty of a hammock, but it sounds like you have a good one. Enjoy!

Sounds like everyone had a good Sunday. For us it started with breakfast and our routine run to Home Depot. Then we planted some new plants in the front and used all the mulch we bought, then on to the fun stuff, working in the garage....ohhhh now that is fun. Deads bees, bugs, lizards and a mouse and dust dust dust. But we made good head way which feels good. The temperature was perfect, sunny but not over 75. The front of the house is looking really nice! I also got out the spackle (I am not sure that is spelled right) and patched some places in the walls so I can paint next weekend. Gosh aren't my weekends filled with fun? But we did see Eric Clapton on Saturday night, that was a great diversion!

Oh wow, how was Clapton? He'd be great to see live. You get all the best concerts. I want to live somewhere exciting, where live arts and entertainment are happening all the time. I love living in Toronto for that reason. When are you putting the house up for sale? Oh, and my Sunday ended with me making supper for my brother, sister inlaw, their 2 kids, and my sister inlaw's parents. Anna's parents stayed until 11 playing this IQ Testing game on CBC with me, it was fun! Ok then

Flipper fun like a stick in the eye!! LOL
Clapton was fantastic. It was in a big arena, and we were in the top section, but we had a great time.
Jessica the house is on the market already, but not quite ready to show. It is getting there though. Did you know you were making dinner, or was it a spur of the moment thing? Sounds like fun.

*hands BNLater a marshmallow for the end of her stick*
We have Clapton tickets for Columbus the first part of April. He's awesome, haven't seen him in about 5 years.

The Schott I think? I forget if it's that or Nationwide, but I think it's the Schott.
The Police announced a Churchill Downs show today - we're going to get tickets for that. They put the stage in the infield, and the seating is on the turf track, dirt track, and grandstand.
The Stones played there last year - the first concert ever there I believe.

I refuse to go see the Police.............I would rather see two or three shows for the prices they want.

Ya know, they aren't the only ones at that price. But I see your point. It's a one shot deal for me, kind of like Genesis.

Flipper nope they aren't, but I am sorry $260 for a floor seat? Over $100 to sit in the top tier? I know that they will have no trouble selling out, which is why they can get away with charging that much, but at least I am not contributing to it.

$260??!?!?! Wow! Is that US dollars? Now THAT is highway robbery. It would have to be someone I really really really liked to pay that. I paid a good chunk of coin to see Elton John a few years back, but I think it was more like $150 Canadian. Wow. Well, I hope they put on a great show for that price.
And dinner was a spur of the moment thing BNLater. But the unplanned events always seem to be the most fun!

I saw Clapton in 1989/90? Somewhere in there. He was wonderful. The most expensive tickets we have purchased (that's ticket price, not airfare and hotel and car and all the other things we do) is for Sir Paul. My husband LOVES the Beatles and he never saw John (and he can tell you where he was, what he was doing and what time it was when John was killed... the man is a true fan) and he had never seen Paul. So now he has seen Ringo, George, Paul... but never John. RIP Mr. Lennon. I would tell you how much we paid to see Paul, but you would think we were insane. We saw him in Vegas a few years ago at the MGM. He was soooo good, we would pay it again. Lovey is a TRUE fan of John and it is really sad he will never be able to see him. I think he really mourns that he never will. I do have a girl friend I used to work for that saw the Beatles in Cincinnati in 1964ish? She said you could barely see them and couldn't hear them at all. It sounds like the digital revolution is a good thing.
