I knew gwak was going to fit in well around here... Cheeeeeese! ;D Everything is better with cheese.... and if she agrees, like iled, that everything is also better with bacon, then give that girl a prize! Just as an update, because I don't think either myself or BNLater posted about it today. My neurologist is awesome and he called the insurance company this afternoon and got me authorized for my next three MRIs that I need to have done of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. And I was actually lucky enough (read: persistent enough) to get in for them TOMORROW! Also, I got the results today of the brain MRI and they were "normal" (please, try to refrain from laughing too hard). So that's good news! I still don't really feel any better, but at least there have been some good things happening today.

Guess who had BLTs from room service for breakfast on the cru-zaaah? Now where's my prize?
Great news about your MRI results! So glad your brain is "normal" ;D , I'm not sure mine would check out that way!

What good news No nick. I had my fingers crossed for you today. I am glad that part went well at least and that you go in so fast for the rest of the tests. And just to let everyone know poutine is Canadian, I believe from Quebec and is well loved up here.

Yup, months. I'll know more after my appointment with the orthopedic surgeon, which could be a while before I get in as well.
I like my poutine with grated mozzerella cheese. Cheese curds are meant to be eaten on their own.

I talked with nonick this morning. She is getting ready to go to her office and do some administrative stuff as well as get them to donate to MS Walk...........then off to lay in the MRI machine for a good portion of the afternoon. She seems to be in pretty good spirits.............and the "normal" brain scan..............hmmmmmmm!!! She hangs out here, that says a lot!!!

Nonick, so glad that the doctors think that you are normal....er, I mean, that you are getting normal results for your tests! Ahhh, the poutine dish - the curds are what scare me, just the look of them! I do think that I did try it in Toronto though, didn't I? At least the fries and gravy? Grated mozzarella sounds SO much better to me, Jessica! *modified to put in the 'sticking out tongue' emoticon! LOL*

Change in plans.... the neurologist decided he wanted to go straight for the high field MRI to hopefully cut down on extra tests and find what he is looking for sooner. Sooooo... had to cancel my appointment for this afternoon that I and the girl at the MRI Center worked so hard to get in today, and reschedule at the new place. Thankfully, I got in tomorrow morning at the new place without having to press and press the girl on the phone! Still won't really know anything about anything until next Tuesday morning when I see the neurologist. Also have to squeeze in some more blood work at some point but I'm not really in any rush for that.
Hmmm... I think you may have tried the poutine when we were in Toronto, Mary. I know I bought it for lunch but I think that it was sort of community poutine and everyone else tried it too!

Wow, the news is looking good for you Nonick. I love it when they decide to quit screwing around and get straight to the big gun stuff. If we think we are going to end up at step 5 let's just do step 5 now. My kind of doctor. I will continue to keep you in my thoughts.
K. I have never heard of poutine before so I had to google it. Gah-ross. Seriously. I love cheese but if you are going to the trouble to have cheese on a potato then make it baked. I can't imagine how you would finagle a cheese curd on top of a limp french fry that has been drenched with gravy. I don't like chili cheese fries either. I guess I am a purist when it comes to my fries I guess. Ketchup (or catsup... which is it?) and fries or fry sauce and fries. That's it. Maybe mustard or vinegar but that's it for sure, and nothing with lumps. I have said it before.... I am a picky monster.

surprising...do they have Chik Filet there? That isn't spelled right, because they do strange things to it, but anyway, they have waffle fries and I love them in honey roasted BBQ sauce!! I love cheese curds but am not a big fan of gravy (ok I love it on turkey and pot roast and such, but not on fries) .............so poutine is out for me.
