The guy who invented the soft-serve ice cream machine and started the first Dairy Queen lived across the street from me when I was little. The first Dairy Queen was in our town.

Never heard of Foster's Freeze - is that a left coast thing?
Pretty much any soft serve, but she's particulary fond of DQ and there's this place in Owensboro (her hometown) called The Dipper that has incredibly good ice cream, burgers, and such that is her fav.

I had never seen Fosters Freeze until I came out here, so maybe just out here. The ice cream is yellower than DQ and too much vanilla or something....DQ is much much better, but we don't have many of those out here.
Flipper next time you go to Sonic have a limeade for me ok?
