yeah, what she said! I thought I was going to be so prepared, most of the shopping is done but nothing is wrapped. Don't worry BNLater, can you wrap this weekend? That is what I plan to do! Is your shopping done? What was your son after this year?

Just have decorating, which would have been done but we're moving this weekend - fun fun!

iled about 99% of the shopping is done. And I plan on getting out the wrapping stuff and taking over the pool table this weekend...but have to wrap while cookies are baking....I am way behind in the area!!! My son is after CASH, or XBOX 360 (not gonna happen), or CASH or CASH!!!!

I guess thats what happens when they get older, $$$$. We have not decorated either social, and I don't even have an excuse although my husband really doesn't like to do much before Dec anyways, this weekend the wrapping should be done and the decoration should be up. What do you bake BNLater?

OK social will you come wrap our gifts? I have an entire room full of stuff!!!! iled I bake between 40-50 dozen cookies of all varieties...except no cut outs anymore, since my son won't decorate them!!! I make Magic Bars, Reindeers Antlers (those are requested every year), and then Chocolate Crinkles, Molasses Cookies, Almond Shortbread...then whatever looks good....I have tons of new recipes I gather each year.

I like wrapping over buying!! I have tons of ribbon and paper and tags, I do try to put alot of effort into that, especially for people who appreciate it!! For me, its all about the wrap!
What the heck do you do with that many cookies? I make fudge, shortbread, white velvet cutouts, cranberry/shortbread/creamcheese square (yet to be named)/ pistachio and cranberry bark and nuts and bolts.

cranberry/shortbread/creamcheese square (yet to be named) Oh my, iled... How about calling them "Heaven on Earth"!! Don't worry, I like wrapping too, social! I always used to do as much of my mom gifts as I could because she hates to wrap presents. Then my signature move every year is to take all the scraps of paper that I have left over and wrap something in them. I think this year it's my dad's turn to get that present. It's actually more work than just wrapping it straight, but I have fun making it look like patchwork quilt!

Good idea nonick, that is what they taste like! Sounds like a cute idea for the gift, I can imagine that would be alot of work. Have you wrapped yet this year?
