What does Canada celebrate, Ludwig? I could look it up, but remember the aforementioned laziness...

On July 1st, 1867, this beautiful land known worldwide as C to the anada was born, with only four provinces. However, this magnificent country grew over the years, with PEI and Manitoba adding themselves in the mix early on, followed by British Columbia in 1890 (I believe, or whenever they finish the Transcontinental Railway), Saskatchewan and Alberta in 1905, and finally Newfoundland/Labrador in 1949. Tomorrow we celebrate the fact that we are Canadians from coast to coast, and damn proud of it! EH!! ;D

Let's all take a small part of our Thursday..or Friday as the case may be...and send our thoughts and prayers to London for those who have suffered loses and injuries!! I believe the effects of such a horrific event are felt worldwide, and that we must all come together.

Our world has been turned upside down with innocent peoples lives lost in London, by those who want to shake freedom from under our feet, especially with London winning the 2012 olympics the day before. There are a few Australians in London who survived the Bali bombings, survived this attack also, and they don't know where they can go to escape the terrorism....
Thoughts and prayers are with the families of those who died and injured.
