It's a restaurant. I don't remember it though. I think it just came up in a conversation recently with my sister and someone at her office. Maybe she can expound.

Zantigos was a fast food mexican place, kind of like Taco Bell, but better food. They had these things called Chilitos....a little burrito with some yummy sauce and cheese....they would go on sale for like 50 cents a piece when I was in law school....and we would eat tons of them!!! I went to school in southern Illinois....no Mexican food there at that time.....and who could beat getting four Chilitos and a coke for like $3.00??!!!

I love Mexican food (minus the refried beans) not much in this area, did you have have Chi Chi's Restaurant there?

All of our ChiChi's closed within the past year or more. That little issue they had with killing a few customers with eColi... somehow it tarnished their business...

None around here, but I have been to them in the midwest. Imagine that nonick...killing people with your food turning people off from dining there?

they closed here about 20 years ago, probably for the same reason!! I actually liked it, but i didn't die!

lol... Except that for me, I think the person that died ate at the ChiChi's in Youngstown, Ohio... a little too close to home for my liking!! Besides, we have some EXCELLENT authentic Mexican restaurants around here that are much better than the imposter Mexican food they serve at places like ChiChi's...
