Don't know what that even means let alone if people are doing it?

Menudo is a Mexican soup. It has "interesting" organ meats in it, and spicy. It is typically served on weekend mornings for breakfast. I myself am not brave enough to try it.

PARDON? whatever happened to chimichangas, burritos and taco, salsa, sour cream and gwock (as we like to call it!!), I guess I prefer the fake Mexican food. Like Chinese food, we get the white mans special (aptly named that by the chinese people I work with!) none of the authentic stuff!!

I say I don't have to like it all.....so I pick and choose what authentic Mexican I eat. Being in southern California you get "authentic" if you want it. But then again we have El Toritos and such which is bastardized version.

Seeing as I thought Menudo was a bad (Ricky Martin) boy-band from the 80s, I think I'll pass on the soup as well!
I'm a fake Mexican eater as well. I guess we say Tex-Mex here because I like fajitas, quesadillas (pronounced the 'Napolean' way) and burros.
Sad thing is, being part Asian, I'm a fake Chinese food eater as well. I just like white meat in my stir-fries and whatever veggies. Don't like the mystery dark chicken. Big fan of the General Gao/Tsao as well. But no matter what choice, I always have to go with the white rice, not the fried rice.

I'm not a huge fan of anything spicey or have to use other cutlery (chopsticks)....forks or fingers work well....

Well I don't like super spicy stuff, but good flavor is a must. Chinese food is wonderful if done well, but no chopsticks for me. Way too much effort. Rice of any kind is great....I guess that comes from being born in Japan!! LOL I think Japanese is in store for dinner tonight......some tempura, some teriyaki and sushi....YUM!
