They still sell them too maa. We did not have a drive thru A&W, we had a drive up, with car hops and little squack boxes to order! So any of you have Sonics?

There was an old school drive-up A&W not far from campus, but we don't have any near here. We also don't have any Sonic's... Punks... I think the closest one is in the Columbus area, but we went to one while we were in Texas. I thought they were pretty good. At least is was something besides the standard McD's, Wendy's, and Burger King...

Oh, and no A&Ws or Sonics up here, either. Or Jack in the Box for that matter.

I hate In and Out myself. But to some they are wonderful. Personally I think Carl's Jr. makes a way better burger. Sonic...food is ok...but love their limeade!!!!!! We don't have one close to use, so only find them when off on a jaunt.

Well, some of us NEVER get burgers! But if one wanted to, one could go to BK, McDs, Wendy's... I think that's about it. There are also Taco Bells here and there, but they don't have burgers (at least I don't think they do). No In and Out here, either.

A&W!!! *drools* We don't have much variety in terms of burger chains here (in Quebec anyways), with McD's being standard throughout the province, Burger Kings in the big towns, and ONE Wendy's in Montreal... however, they re-opened an A&W in my hometown last summer, and there are a few around the province, and god knows WHAT this world would be without A&W's... ok, I don't eat there often, but it sure beats McD's any day! OH, and if you guys ever journey over here, you've GOT to go to Cora's Breakfast... the portions are HUGE, and full of fruit and anything you want

Alright, stop it right now!!! ONE Wendy's in Montreal-insane!!! 10 Harvey's, 10 Burger Kings, 24 Wendy's and 38 McDonalds - OMG that is crazy, but not as crazy as Manhattan where there are 81 McD's (or some insane # like that, if you watched Super Size Me that is where I got that info!) oh yeah and 38 A&W's (looked these up in the phone book!)
Plus you have to try crepes in Old Montreal (or Old Town??) best ever! Plus the scenery is not that bad either!

Hahaha. NYC is creepy.
Starbucks on every corner.
My town refuses to give a plot to McD's or any other huge company (taxes are high, very high) but the town over has a McD's, Wendy's, and KFC within like... 1,000 feet of each other. Creepy.
No one is ever coming to my suburb...not that I could reccomend anything...we...have a diner? And a seafood restaurant I've heard good things from......

The seafood restaurant talks to you marketed? LOL Sorry could not help myself. While there are some advantages of living in a place without all commercial stuff, there are huge disadvantages too. I live in a city that when I first came had two grocery stores, although the same chain, and no fast food. Now we are big and have two targets, 5 grocery stores, every fast food store known to man and good restaurants. I think I would have liked something in between.
Does anyone remember Zantigos? Or do they still have those around?

wait... 24 Wendy's in MONTREAL?! Or somewhere else?
I haven't really been to the Vieux-Montréal yet though... one day I will... anyways, I still have tons of stuff to discover there.

I've never been there, I've only heard reviews. I don't eat seafood.
We're too small.
We have a CVS, and a blockbuster.
OH WAIT
We got a Subway like 7 or 8 months ago.
It's kind of funny though because it's in a remote location.
