That must have been going around, Hogey. I know of quite a few people that had the same exact problem yesterday. Phase of the moon or something... But it's Wednesday now!! The middle of the work week and on our way to another fulfilling weekend! [glow=aqua,2,300]Have a wildly wonderful Wednesday everybody![/glow]

My wednesday is coming to a close - and thankfully it is as it has been one of the worst wednesdays I've had in ages...

I'm seeing some fireworks tomorrow night - because it's Australia Day - and maybe going out to have coffee with a friend whose rape case has just finished in the courts, I met her through a forum that is for survivors of Sexual abuse/ rape/ child abuse and Domestic Violence....

Dragon that sounds like a great weekend.
iled...my hubby and I are going to a home show on Sunday I think and so our favorite pancake house for breakfast. Other than that, lots to do around the house, like get all the Christmas stuff put back in the shed!!!
Hogey that sounds like a great weekend too, even though you don't get to sleep in. But at least work will not interrupt the majority of the day. So any plans with your mate or just going to hang out and catch up?

Love those home shows, there was one here just last weekend. We did not make it since we were painting. This weekend is the RV show, just as much fun for us camper types! Mmmmm, nothing like breakfast out on the weekend, no dished, no bacon smell, yummy pancakes...............thanks alot, I'm starving now and nowhere close to lunch!!!!LOL

Sorry iled. Home shows are dangerous for me....gives me all kinds of ideas...all costing lots of money and time!!! We go out to breakfast every Saturday and Sunday.....although usually to the same place. But this pancake place ("The Original Pancake House") is further away then we usually go, so anytime we are heading that way we stop. German pancake ..yummy with lemon and powder sugar or forty niner flapjacks......dang I am hungry now too.

Hogey, those weekends were always the greatest time!! There's just something about having your home friends your new surroundings that is so cool.
As for me, I'm supposed to go hiking this weekend. Now I'm just waiting to see if the weather is going to cooperate or not.

At least you will hopefully enjoy any money spent on your home!!! What is a german pancake and a fortyniner pancake!! We occasionaly go to A&W for breakfast as it is really close by (walking distance!) but there are a few good places around town that make yummy breakfast burritos and eggs bededict...................... Do you have A&W there? Nonick, that sounds like a nice weekend, exercise and fresh air......now I really don't want to work this weekend!

iled, yep A&W is still alive and well in limited numbers here. I have never been there for breakfast. We usually go to Cowgirl Cafe for breakfast. It is a little hole in the wall pretty close to the house, with good old home cooking. You can get grits or biscuits and gravy with everything. They make the best chicken fried steak ever. The portions are huge too. A German pancake is light and thin, and is baked in the oven. I just squeeze lemon juice on them and sprinkle a little powdered sugar....yummy. Forty niner flapjacks are thin and really bubbly and light. Kind of like a little thicker crepe but full of bubbles. I eat those with jelly or syrup depending on my mood.

Mmmm.. I used to go to A+W with my grandmother when I was a little girl. There was a drive-thru and I thought that was SO COOL! Rootbeer floats are still my favorite treat.
