I hope you're feeling better when you read this DH... get lots and lots of rest, and maybe make your kids become your slaves? no, don't do that, that would be mean... but do rest well!

I heard somewhere that animals have a knack for feeling things that we don't... probably want to attack your pain or something DH... Here, it's dreary once again... and they keep pushing back our first rays of sunshine since last Sunday further, now it's planned for Monday... OH WAIT!!! I see a... a... HOLE IN THE CLOUDS!!! There's only one though, but STILL!!

ouchies, Dragon! Hope those animals leave you alone for a bit!
This Saturday brings two projects I'm not working on, plus a Better Than Ezra concert at the Chesapeake Jubilee, followed by fireworks with my sister and one of her man friends.

We have a holiday called Victoria Day, or Patriot's Day or Jour de Dollard (only in Quebec... silly Quebecers ) on Monday, which grants us our only three-day weekend in May. Is the fireworks show on tonight mas?

Hope your fireworks went well, mas!! Today was about as perfect of a day weatherwise as you can get. It was about 75°F and SUNNY with the occasional cloud, a light breeze early that died in the late evening into the night. GORGEOUS! I spent a good part of the afternoon washing my car. Who knew it was actually a shade of red? Car looks good and I seem to have gotten a bit of a sunburn on my upper back and shoulers. Then tonight I went for a short ride just me and my dog with top down cruising around town. Overall, a pretty good day!
