&%$#ing Thursday.

Due to a company buyout and a company-wide management meeting with our owner that is only scheduled for the morning... I work from 10:30AM to 2:30AM today.

Wow... Umm.. so, I'm back everybody! My laptop power cord had an unfortunate accident and I had to order a new one off eBay. After a long couple days of waiting, I'm back and tired as usual. I've been doing my drivers in-car training and is that ever stressful!

sorry been busy...

the spirit of the horse review...

they had a total of 12 horses doing their performances the Spanish dnacing horses came out first and an awesome display of dressage, then the riata ranch cowboy girls with rope work and one was skipping whilst jumping through the lasso...the dancing horses came out and did more fancy hoof work...had a the police horses doing a bit of horse soccer. then the spanish dancing horses in the full costume. intermission which they set up show jumping and there was a lot holding their stuff....there was a trick rider and the barrel races woohoo Australia won 2-1 and tommy turpy and his horse Ben that was a laugh....and it was topped off with more Spanish horses doing the matador dance with the falaminco dancers and then a mare and foal with a young girl singing "What a wonderful world" the foal was hillarious walking around trying to kick the handler and trotting around head & tail held high.....

Welcome to Thursday all. It is my last day of the work week as we are going to sign more documents for the house first thing tomorrow and then off to the Del Mar Fair for yummy garbage food and then to see Kenny Loggins!

Do they serve sweet corn roasted on the ear out there? I always loved that...they roast it in the husk on a bit of a stem, then peel the husk back and dip the whole thing into a vat of melted butter, then hand it to you to eat (holding it by the long "handle" they've left)...mmmmmmmmm.

But then, I grew up in corn country.

Yep that is good fair food binskki, along with homemade potato chips and steak on a stake and other terribly not good for you stuff. But we got one day a year, so I have been saving my points all week and will enjoy myself. Kenny will be great I am sure, he was fantastic last year. He is quite a performer.

Warm here, but not unbearable in the least, that was Monday when it was 97° and 97% humidity. Supposed to have some spotty storms this afternoon. Getting ready for the weekend, not really anything planned but looking forward to catching up on some sleep I missed last weekend in all the Barenaked fun-ness!
