Linnea and I are going to a street carnival on Saturday in Marc's neighborhood...think fried dough, religous icons, and carnival rides, not necessarily in that order.

Happy Thursday all! Hey, how was your little holiday no nick? I don't start until 10 this morning. At least I'm actually able to work today. I was hit hard by a virus last week, still not feeling 100% but a heck of alot better. Won $200 in a contest on our local radio station this week. Found out a favourite patient of mine was killed in a car accident a few days ago. Saw my nephew, Jonah, turn 2, Amen. Crazy week. And I work Saturday, blah. But next week is my last week of work before starting 3 weeks of holidays, so yay! My Grandmother arrives next Thursday and is staying until Sept 1st. My Grandpa will join her August 9th. I will be a new auntie any day now. No big weekend plans here. My best friend from Vancouver may visit her sister in a nearby town this weekend, so I may get to see her. Otherwise, open house at my place on Sunday (I'm ready to give up selling it), and hot hot weather! Ok, this was kind of a long winded reply. Sorry. Just catching up from being own for the count last week Everyone have a spectacular day and weekend! |

Wow, Jess, what a roller coaster of a week! Glad you are feeling better and very sorry for the loss of your patient - no good. I would say you are well and truly due for your holidays - I hope they are wonderful! Maybe you can find something sinful to spend your $200 on...

Ahhh fried dough.............I have not seen that since my last visit to main. Here was have funnel cakes, which are similar, but not quite the same. binskki you and Linnea have a great time, but don't get a tummy ache. Jessica, dang sounds like craziness there, but soon to be followed by some rest and relaxation. I hope the Open House goes well. We have one Sunday as well. We now are entering into the scariest of all parts..........looking at owning two houses at the same time! Doesn't anyone know someone that wants to own a wonderful house in Norco, CA? Jessica when is the new one due to arrive? nonick, if you can't fit everything in, go through and discard stuff you don't wear etc to make room for the new. |

Oh yeah, I did mean to menchon it was post it notes... Lol.
But yes! You got it right! It looks a lot cooler in person, it looks bigger and the colors look much brighter and prettier!
I made up my own project this year, in which I call "Post-it Note Art." It's been really fun!
