Merriest? It's nuthouse here in Ohio! The big Ohio State championship game is on tonight, in about a half hour to be exact. I'm not a big football fan, but I'll probably just watch the game for the heck of it. Watching the band play is always fun, since I know the Drum Major whom I've gone to 4-H camp with for over 5 years.

Yeah. Go Bucks. I'm kind of dissapointed that they lost, but I'm more dissapointed they didn't show Stew! And Fox was bragging about "Oh yeah, we've changed our programming just because of the Ohio State band so that from now on we will show the halftime show in all bowl games now!" BULLCRAP. Yeah, they showed it, but with 5 minute commercial breaks right during the bands play. So I just went to bed with a massive headache, and I still feel like crap so I stayed home today.

It's cold and rainy here. We're in the talks of getting a huge snowstorm, I'm kind of hoping we will. It hasn't been an official Winter until we at least get snow!

welcome to another monday....spent the afternoon being poked and prodded by doctors for 2 asthma trials...one was genetics based and the other was comsumer based trial - what fun!!!

Another Monday back at work... had to clean about two inches of snow off the car just to drive in today... Oh that mother nature has a cruel sense of humor...

Monday Monday, ba da, ba da da da! Hey, the Mama's and the Papa's should be on S&D III! Oh. Except half of them are now dearly departed. Maybe not.
So yes, my last day of freedom before heading back to work. I plan to drink alot of coffee, watch my darling nephew Jonah for a couple of hours, practice a bit of piano (haven't touched the thing in over a week!), shock my hot tub (it was neglected while I was away) ad just generally dread going back to work.
I want to be a professional vacationer. Sigh. Ok, got those 2 BLAM shows to look forward to however!
Back to your regularily scheduled thread............

I woke up Sunday with about 4 inches of snow on the ground! I wasn't at home, about 2 hours away. When I got home I realized we got 4 or 5 inches. I'm really happy to see snow, just not when I'm delivering newspapers!
But... Lucky for my mom, I have Quiz Bowl tonight, so she gets to deliver them for me!

cripes too close for comfort....
I had a crappy monday and it was four seasons in one day rain, thunderstorms,heat and wind....glad its getting cooler....4 days over 100F was a bit too much esp with humidity over 50%....

So when my Monday started I had 114 unread e-mails in my home e-mail account and probably over 500 total messages... An hour and a half later I have 4 new messages and 152 e-mails total. Makes me happy!  Although I have to say that it was kind of sad getting rid of all my Ships & Dip planning e-mails... But I'll just have to think of it as making room for the planning e-mails for S&D III!! P.S. It is COLD here today. I think the wind chill is below zero. I only have to walk a block to get from the parking garage to the building and by the time I got inside my legs were numb. Guess northwest Ohio is going to have a winter this year after all! |

I guess I need to follow your lead Andrea and clean out my inbox as well. And holy cow, that's alot of e-mails! I got home from S&D to about, oh gee, I don't know, 18 new messages, half of which were spam. I suck!
So yes, Monday. It's a little chilly, but we are seeing some sunshine. I'm off today and am leisurely enjoying my coffee before starting a day full of errands, piano lesson and babysitting my nephew.
On a side note, one of my brother's got struck with a collapsed lung yesterday, poor guy is in alot of pain, so I'll check in on him today. I love days off of work.
