He does mention it during the Randall's Island concert, but this was a quote that I nabbed from the Ladies Room a long, long time ago. It cracked me up.

Nope, it was one of those quotes that they have over in the left margin on the website that changes with every different page you visit. Other than in Spout that is...

There's a Jones Beach concert (over at the KingJeff site) where they have an entire little banter thing dedicated to Ribs. Ed: We're going to have to rethink our set, and I'm gonna have to rethink the way I eat. Steve: Is that right? Ed: Yeah, because we were in town not so long ago and I went to a place called Virgil's and I ate more ribs than is necessary for a human being to eat in a month. Steve: Because it's necessary for a human being to eat some ribs every month. 'How ya feelin', Ed?' 'Well, it's my time of the month... Six ribs.' Ed: Well, I ate my ribs. Then I ate two of Larry's ribs. And they give you a lot of ribs. So, that was last week. And that should've been enough... But yesterday I went back and I had lunch there. And I was feeling like 'God, I don't need to eat ribs for another six months'. Then Kev and I went to see Wicked at the Gershwin Theater and we had been apart all day and Kev said, "What do you feel like doing? I feel like going to Virgil's for ribs!" So I went, "OK!" Then he starts an entire rap about it and it's very, very funny. Ed sure likes his ribs... Or maybe just meat in general.

Hahahaha!
That's funny. I've never had "ribs" before, but I'm not a big meat eater. The only way I've seen them is with sauce plastered all over it.... are there any other kinds?

I don't think I've ever eaten ribs either.
I can't eat meat that still looks like the animal or animal part that it came from... Turkeys on a Thanksgiving dinner table? It makes me sick to my stomach. Not because I'm an avid vegetarian or PETA supporter or anything, it simply makes me want to be sick thinking about the bones and veins and tendons and... Eughh.
Give me chicken tenders, steak tips and different deli meats anyday... Those don't gross me out. I enjoy a lot of meat... Just not when it looks like road kill.
