Hahaha! When I get to thinking about the fact that it's a dead animal I can't eat it either, but as long as I don't find a vein or something is too chewy then I'm okay. The turkey doesn't bother me for some reason.
I eat turkey and chicken occasionally, and I'm sorry... but I'm a sucker for bacon and pepperoni at times.
Eating anything else just doesn't appeal to me.....

My sister found it in a guide to NYC that she had, Virgil's BBQ, and it wasn't that expensive, it was right down the street from our hotel, and we both love barbeque, so we were going to go. We had heard in the past about Ed's addiction to BBQ and the fact that he had a favorite place in NYC for it. Amy said that she thought Virgil's was probably it, but I thought that of all the hundreds of restaurants in NYC what are the odds that it's that place? So we didn't go for dinner the Friday night before the Randall's Island show. We might have run into him there!!! She's going to kick my ass!!! LOL

Pepperoni is usually too spicy for me. MOST things are too spicy for me, though.
Bacon, on the other hand, is my favorite.
My father eats Liverwurst - I think that's how it's spelt. Oh my god. I'm sorry if you like it but is one of the most foulest smelling meat products ever. It tastes so gross and even the texture is... Mushy. I'm grossed out just thinking about it.
Does anyone know what Liverwurst actually is? Like what animal it comes from? I have no clue...

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO WAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!! You've never had ribs???
I'm a big Chili's babyback ribs fan. Or any babyback ribs fan for that matter. They are delish!
There are baby back ribs, full sized ribs, beef ribs, pork ribs, garlic ribs, broasted ribs, ribs-kabobs, ribs creole, ribs gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple ribs, lemon ribs, coconut ribs, pepper ribs, ribs soup, ribs stew, ribs salad, ribs and potatoes, ribs burger, ribs sandwich

"I like a nice butterflyed porkchop with a chutney of some sort. But my heart is with bacon. I'd be a vegetarian if it weren't for bacon...and steak..and chicken...and meatballs...and sausages...and basically any animal's flesh." – Ed

Hard to conceive of not every had ribs. I am not a big fan of Chili's ribs though. And I don't like mine drowned in sauce. I prefer them cooked just right so they fall off the bone with a rub or sauce you can use if you wish. Dang, now I am hungry for ribs. Hmmm I think that Applebees has all you can eat riblets this month....I think it will be added to our agenda this weekend.
nonick save yourself...don't tell her!!!

That quote is hilarious! Nonick, I think you are right about your sister kicking your ass! But really, of all the possibilities or BBQ places in NYC, who woulda thunk it! Just try to forget the fact that you may have been dining with Ed, ribs, sauce all over the place, napking passing, finger bowl sharing.........try not to think of it!
To those of you who have not tried ribs, you should next time in a good restaraunt, much easier than making them at home, they are great when they just fall off the bone and BNLater, you are right, just the right amount of sauce! MMMMMM, I'm hungry now and it is 9:00am!
