FINALLY! It's Friday! No school today... yay!
I'm getting my hair done (cut, color) and then I've got to high-tail it home to clean and cook. Why, you ask? Well, every July we have a HUGE cookout - we invite all our friends, have a moonwalk (bouncy house), we set up the net in the side yard for volleyball/badminton, there's bocce and horseshoes, lots and LOTS of food and beverages - it's a BLAST! For many of the people who come, this is the only time they all get together! Usually we have about 75-100 people over the course of the day and night! And this year's big bash is TOMORROW!

I am considering pink, as a matter of fact! I'm just getting it streaked/lightened - chunkier than highlights - but I've got some pink Manic Panic left over from when I did Kristy Rose's hair that I may put in here and there.
My husband is in charge of the meat... we usually have dogs, burgs, brats (with onions and peppers, of course), steak tips, and of course veggie burgers.

Brats...boiled in beer and then thrown on the BBQ....finished with stone ground mustard and some kraut. Damn, now I need a brat!
